Re: 2009-2010 Chicago Bulls Run
I'm curious to see how they hang. I think their next televised game is Saturday right? I'm recording that sucker since I'll be balling in a game at UIC. Look forward to seeing how he hangs. Is Tyrus alright from the concussion by the way? I'm really looking forward to the NBA season. I want to see how the Bulls mesh together. I hope that they keep Vinny as coach for a long time. I want the loyalty for a coach like Jerry Sloan has in Utah. -

Re: 2009-2010 Chicago Bulls Run
They've looked real good this preseason even without Rose, Tyrus, and Salmons out for a good amount, if not all of the games. The rooks are looking real good and hopefully they can keep this momentum going into the start of the regular season as they usually get off to those real slow starts.Originally posted by billmaticRadman is more like the ******** homeless man's version of Okur.Comment

Those rookies are looking great. I was thinking that the Bulls really should keep Byars. He looks solid on the court. He could really help out the team when Luol gets his annual injury. I'm kind of glad that we have Richards also. He's a good intensity that we could use off the bench when Noah isn't in. He seems like he's a Charles Oakley type of player that can really hold down his own. We'll need that having Shaq in our Division and Dwight in our conference. Playing the Magic tomorrow. It should be quite interesting to see howthe Magic look.
I also love Tyrus but Taj is really making Tyrus look dispensable.Comment

taj gibson is looking really really good. Im not gonna lie when we first picked him i almost broke my tv but he has really suprised me. Johnson is looking good also he just needs more time, while i think taj can just step right in and play. I think we are going to wait until the trade deadline and if tyrus doesnt really step his game up this year he is gone! Anyway team is lookin good this year! Lets go Rose!Comment

Re: 2009-2010 Chicago Bulls Run
the coaching sucks, bad play calling and too many timeouts that stop momentum
the players make terrible decisions on the court they don't space or box out
rose is a coward and does nothing but shoot jumpers and his form is even worse with the flattest shot in the NBA
Noah has no basketball iq
deng is the only consistent player
Gibson is just dumb and uncoordinated
miller is good for nothing
salmons is their best player
the endComment

I wouldn't say Rose is a coward. Rose is a pass first PG with unbelievable athletic ability for that position. For that reason, everyone expects him to be a scorer because he can. It's simply not his mentality...he wants to set up his teammates, but the coaches need to encourage him and let him know he's the man on this team so he can stop deferring to other players. Deng, Salmons, Noah, etc all need to play off Rose. Those other players should not be running isolation plays at all.
Give us a coach and a 3pt shooter, and we win at least 45 games. I hope the Bulls go after Byron Scott (but they won't).Comment

Re: 2009-2010 Chicago Bulls Run
Would you prefer I said he's currently statistically the best player? He has the most points, he makes the 3's, the fadeaways, the drives... hes definitely the best player right now, he keeps them in games that arent blow outs.
Rose has potential but hes scared. his coaches didnt help his jump shot, hes slower and less quick off the dribble. He doesnt break ankles like last year.
Very hesitant and overall salmons kills him in stats.Comment

I wouldn't say Rose is scared. He's playing how he's ALWAYS played. With all the skills he had, Rose never was a big time scorer even in HS. One thing Rose has done was win. 2 HS titles, and led his team to the NCAA championship as a freshman. Rose said he worked on his J all summer. And while you can't really tell, it's mostly due to him not playing ALL of preseason and coming off an injury. Anyone who plays sports will tell you it takes time before you're 100%. His ankle is probably fine, but now he has to get his conditioning and timing up to par, and it seems like he's getting there.Comment
