Re: We are ORNG: Official Phoenix Suns team thread

Well, I don't know what the Suns are planning, but it's been a good run and been fun to watch this team, in my opinion the funnest team to watch. Nash is one amazing guy!

Yeah I think J-Rich would be our primary scorer.

damn, i'm sorry. i don't mean that as an insult, either, but jason richardson is like a third or fourth tier shooting guard, so that shows how big a loss amare is.

Channing Frye is one guy I have no idea what is sill doing there. I mean, he can shoot - sometimes, but most of the time you have no idea if he's gonna have an OK game or a horrible game. The 40%+ from 3 doesn't really tell the real story, as far as I remember watching him. I'm a bit surprised to see this FG%'s.

                  haha good

That's the only reason I went to this thread was to comment on that. That has to be one of the most annoying slogans/mottos/whatever it is I've ever seen from a pro team, and that's saying a lot coming from a Magic fan.

It's like a 48 year old man in marketing was trying to hit the 12-year-old-girl-who-loves-to-text-message audience.

Suns have signed Hedo Turkoglu and Josh Childress.

                      Re: Phoenix Suns 2010-11 Thread

Turkoglu will likely start at Stoudemire's power forward position next season and that will give the Suns a very different look at that spot and also give them more options. The 6-8 Turkoglu excelled as a playmaker for the Magic in the playoffs in 2009, running the pick-and-roll with All-Pro center Dwight Howard relentlessly in Orlando's Eastern Conference finals win over the Cavs. In Phoenix, he could have a similar role that would allow Nash to play more off the ball and not have as much pressure game in and out as the team's chief ballhandler.

Turk is great, but no way he can play PF in this league...not even in Europe. I guess that makes Nash the SF...?

I doubt it works out that way for good.
