Rape trade but still good trade in the long run for the Knicks. 2012 is the Superstar PG Bonanza anyway and I'm sure the Knicks will be able to round out the rest of the roster with some guys willing to chase a chance at a ring at a discount for their services. Just who off the top of my head I don't know but you know what I'm saying.

I feel the same way you stated here.

I'm not happy...jumping for joy.

I did NOT want to lose Moz. That's what pisses me off. I would have loved to 'round out our roster' with a player like him developing. We went out and found him when no one else wanted to sign him.

Just got to land a good, serviceable Center next year on the low- $ (Kendrick Perkins will be too expensive).

I believe the Knicks will sign Earl Barron this year.

Welcome Melo...but now I know what rape (sports) feels like.

The Knicks got fleeced and it's not a good feeling.

Happy..but not estatic. Not even close.

Can't wait til next year though.

Who wants to play on the Knicks, in the Garden, with 2 All-Stars for a chance at a championship, for a coach who will pad your stats?

Isn't this^ what it all boils down to?

The fact that the Knicks brass released a statement saying everyone's on the same page shows you the front office is fractured.

The bottom line is as Donnie said last week, If a trade is out there that makes us better, I will explore-it..

This trade makes us better.

We didn't gut the team like many want to believe we did. We got back pieces who can contribute now in Billups & Brewer. Serviceable back-ups in AC, Balkman & Williams.

Also who's the say Donnie is done dealing... Though it may seem like we've taken steps backward, look @ what we were for the last decade & tell me feelings aside if were not in a better place today than were then

I'm not seeing the huge problems with this either. Billups for Felton is a push, and Billup's contract expires in 2012 giving us room to push for CP3 or D-Will. We were basically gonna lose Wilson Chandler anyway if we wanted to sign Melo. At that point it's Gallo and Mozgov and some draft picks (which if we win won't make too much difference) for Melo. Do I love the trade? No, but I don't hate it. And I'm glad all of this stuff is over.
