Yuck. I'm happy that didn't happen.

I really like this team minus the imposing presence in the middle. Bosh wouldn't have been that guy anyway so the Knicks are better off right now.

With the way this team runs their offense, I'm not sure I even care for a Chris Paul in 2012. I don't think they need a point guard. Not in that sense anyway. A good point guard will help them score points right? The Knicks don't need any more help scoring points.

They need someone to stop guys from driving the lane when they decide they want to be lazy on defense.

I know bigeast has been saying this for months. I'm just agreeing with him.

Yeah...I've cooled off alot on wanting that "all-world" PG. Chauncey has shown me what true leadership is.

I hope the Knicks spend "smart money" this offseason on a defensive Center.

That'll make me estatic.

EDIT: As much as I dislike Shelden Williams (Dookie)...I appreciate what he brings. He can guard a big straight up with no help, he does not want to score, he can block/contest shots and rebound. He's just a big body and someone who can clog the paint area. And he's not a stiff like Dampier.

Douglas still makes me cringe with a lot of things he does on the court (mainly decision making) but it's amazing how much better he has played post-Melo deal once we slowed down the offense,

Two games in a row the Knicks play hard on offense and defense? They didn't let up on the offensive end at all. I know the Jazz scored over 100, but that probably doesn't happen if the second unit doesn't play the entire fourth quarter.

And on back-to-back nights? Wow. I'm impressed. Killer instinct. Gotta keep that up.

I didn't know Donnie Walsh uses a walker. He looked in bad shape...health-wise.

I don't think those are 90s jerseys. They're older than 90s if I'm not mistaken.

Did not like tonight's performance. Bad defense. Bad offense. I know that's tough to realize when a team shoots 60% in the first three quarters but it wasn't an effective percentage.

Tony Douglas is infuriating me at the point. Bad decision after bad decision. He's reminding me of Nate Robinson with his shot attempts and poor passing. And I'm not sure how many times a team needs to pick off your pass before you start making better ones. In the case of Tony Douglas, many more times than they happened tonight.

Lucky shots and a Melo prayer saved this game.

TD is being asked to be a real PG with Billups out and we all know he isn't one. We'll be fine once Chauncey comes back. That careless pass/turnover late had me cursing loudly lol. That's just inexcusable for an NBA player to make a play like that, let alone in a clutch situation.

I'm impressed with how well we've played without Billups though considering we're only supposed to be a 2 & half star (person) team.

Or him setting up in the half court and just jacking up a 3, not passing the ball to no one.

When he takes smart shots, he hits them. Deadly shooter. But he takes too many bad ones to be considered a threat.

I seriously wondered why Carter wasn't getting crunch time minutes after Douglas coughed up that inexcusable turnover.

Not ignoring Stoudemire's lazy "here you go" passes in the game as well.

But I will give Memphis credit. They are scary on defense. They aren't necessarily tough, but they play NBA 2K defense.
