Was reading on the Knicks blog about how Shump is very reminiscent of another former Knicks 6'5 shooting guard who plays his heart out and does whatever he has to. You're right he isn't horrible. He simply isn't a starter nor a point guard. A sixth, seventh man. First guard off the bench to fire up the team: he can be that.
I'm just not sure he will be with Bibby playing better and taking his minutes. Pretty soon Davis will be starting alongside Shumpert. Fields and Bibby will be the first backcourt options assuming D'Antoni doesn't wise up and use Fields at the 3.

Iman has surprised me. I was one of the guys that was unhappy with the pick but kid can ball.
