Amare is checked out. No "immortal swag", no confidence, no intensity.

          Toney Douglas: 10 mins, 0/5 fg, 0 points, 0 rebs, 0 asts.
          Iman Shumpert: 37 mins 4/11 fg, 10 pts 3 rebs 7 asts 5 stls 1 block

Pretty Toney...er Sh*tty Toney, enjoy D'Antoni's doghouse. There's only one way in and the only way out involves being packaged with a draft pick.

D'Antoni sent Douglas to the dog house?

Love it. Thank you. Mike you just won yourself some time.

I'm assuming so. Douglas didn't play a lick in the second half. Bibby got minutes over him and outplayed him as well.

TD, has finally gone the Nate Robinson route. Bout freaking time. Pringles finally realized TD is horrible. Just might have safe his behind?

Not much to say about Shump. Dude's got swag. Hopefully Carmelo is OK

They struggled to beat the friggin' Wizards. They better pick up their play before the schedule toughens up. Thank goodness for the Shump.

I wouldn't say Toney is horrible. I think he could contribute pts coming off the bench. He's just not a pg.

Just watched the WAS game on tivo. Forgot what a beast Melo is when he post up. Thank you Amare for driving to the hoop again and not settling for jumpers.
The Knicks are going to figure this out and play better.

Was reading on the Knicks blog about how Shump is very reminiscent of another former Knicks 6'5 shooting guard who plays his heart out and does whatever he has to. I had never thought about it before, but given Starks's place in my Knick fandom, I'll have to see Shump do more. But it is an interesting comparison.

You're right he isn't horrible. He simply isn't a starter nor a point guard. A sixth, seventh man. First guard off the bench to fire up the team: he can be that.

I'm just not sure he will be with Bibby playing better and taking his minutes. Pretty soon Davis will be starting alongside Shumpert. Fields and Bibby will be the first backcourt options assuming D'Antoni doesn't wise up and use Fields at the 3.

As for Melo posting up and Stoudemire driving, I wanted to scream hallelujah at the bar.

Good game from Iman last night...I had my doubts as to whether he could run the show. Good to see he's very capable of being a PG (@ least for 1 night).

Iman has surprised me. I was one of the guys that was unhappy with the pick but kid can ball.

Still has a lot to learn but I definitely see the potential others were raving over.
