I missed most of that game and only saw him hit the tying and record setting threes.

Douglas gets hot and he's on fire. I know this.

But, if he did it with some flow to the offense, I'd be okay with him missing a few shots.

When Jeffries takes a wide-open three, I cringe, but I can't be too mad at him. He's wide-open. Sometimes you just gotta take the shot.

Douglas, however, just throws them up there totally disrupting the flow of the offense.

Hey, if Lin keeps driving to the basket, throwing up prayers when he's swarmed, I'm gonna be pissed off about that too.

How long before JR is the starting SG?

D'Antoni really doesn't like deep rotations. And although Fields is balling right now...it may have more to do with the fact that Melo is not in the lineup.

I'm convinced that Fields is like starstruck over Melo or something. He just folds when he's on the court with Melo and he's like a different man when Melo is not out there.

I agree, Fields definitely was playing starstruck before. But I believe that playing with Lin has developed a newfound confidence in him. I'm not worried about him playing like the Landry of old.

You keep J.R. on the bench so as not to mess up the chemistry Landry and Lin have.

I don't want JR at all. Let him go to Lob City.He has a ton of talent, but he never saw a shot he didn't like. He's such a chucker that he make's Melo's shot selection seem great by comparison.

Besides, we have Landry and Shump. What do we need JR for?

They can't be counted on in the clutch and have never hit a huge shot between them.

Sometimes you just need veterans who have been there before.

When we get Jorts back, we'll have pretty nice depth.

Sucks to see that we'll have to get rid of someone to open up a roster spot for JR.

I despise JR Smith but we have zero scoring off the bench. We need him. I'll mother**** him on the regular, probably every game, but we have to take a chance on him.

Any news on if Melo is going to play tomorrow?

did you hear about smiths sister trying to start a fight in china when smith drew contact and didn't get a call? it was against the team that brawled w/ georgetown.

I hope smith can stay out of trouble. dude is pretty g and he stayed finding trouble in denver (off court), i can only imagine what happens when he in town.
