Coach Fisher is a big fan of the Triangle in more ways than one.

The defense looked horrendous last night, granted Bauru was simply jacking up threes. Melo certainly seems healthy and his J was on point. Nice debut from O'Quinn, our fans are going to love his passion.

As for Taps, I think that's what we'll see from him all season. Moments where he looked really bad, awkward and goofy and moments where he looks great. We still need to see him against legit NBA talent but his defensive potential is very exciting.

This is so friggin smooth. The footwork, the balance, the stroke.

Knicks looked just as good against a real NBA team than they did against Brazil. Porzingis had his best game yet. Had a nice pump fake two dribble pull up, and scored on Gortat with a strong move. I'm thinking hes gonna avg. at least 2 blocks a game if he gets decent minutes, and he should get more comfortable as the season progresses.

Melo has never looked so sharp as a Knick. Hes efficient, and taking good shots. Passing well too. I get the feeling he's truly bought into the system and likes his team(at least for now).

Already love O'Quinn, reminds me of Charles Oakley a little. Derrick Williams had a great game. Dude is an athlete, he could be a mismatch at the 4 on offense.

I like this team so far. The offense is not rigid, it goes from melo iso to triangle to pick and roll depending on the personnel, and the ball moves.

What they need is a good SG, lets see what Afflalo will bring.

What do you guys think of Vujacic?

Grant looks great. That trade gets more and more unbelievable every day.

When's the last time we had a PG who altered/controlled the pace like Grant? Lin had his amazing stretch but he wasn't controlling the pace. It's probably been since Mark Jackson.

It will be so nice to get some easy buckets in transition again and not play so slow all game long. The second unit of Grant/KOQ/Williams has some potential, especially if Grant can be an adequate defender. Williams will be so frustrating to watch though, he is straight gunning this preseason and has awful shot selection.

I also LOL'd at Clyde last night saying he wasn't a fan of the Grant/Hardaway trade on draft night. C'mon, Clyde.

Clyde made a good point that Fish may want to keep Grant with the second unit where he can do more damage and that may be the best fit.

The starters will play heavily through Melo and the Triangle while Calderon spaces the floor. Grant comes in with the second unit and it's all PnR and up-tempo. Then have Grant finish the game in the 4th.

                    Probably returned overseas.

He didn't look good at all in the SL. Way overmatched.

It's going to be interesting to see if Porzingis starts on opening night. I wouldn't mind seeing it honestly. Starter or not though, he needs minutes.

Bucks pretty banged up for tomorrow. It's actually a pretty important game for the first game of the year, with how brutal our schedule is early.

Cautiously optimistic. Not expecting huge things but I think the team is going to bring the effort most nights.

Our offense should be relatively enjoyable to watch this season. The defensive end of the floor is going to be a disaster though.
