Re: The 2016 New York Knicks: Now that we're done tanking...

Is it just me, or does O'Quinn sometimes seem like he doesn't know who he is. Gets a great board, and tries to force things up with so many defenders swatting the ball. Really just want him to kick out for a reset a little more.

This team seems a little out of control sometimes, but I'll take it if that's the cost of all this energy.

They really need to start Galloway

Calderon on defense is absolute comedy

I like what Fisher said because it's true, especially for a new roster that will need time and has to hustle for wins.

He wanted to see how the team treated the 4th and wasn't worried about last night; the focus was on the season.

And the Knicks won the 3rd and 4th. How often in the last 15 years have we watched this team go down double digits in the half to a clearly superior team and give up?

Too often. But last night they tried no matter the score.

          Let's see if it continues.

I didn't even think about it until now, but guess who we didn't see last night? Tim Hardaway, Jr.

That trade is looking better and better each day.

              This is where I disagree.

True, the triangle really doesn't differentiate lead guards much because the ball is always moving.

But Galloway clearly at this point is a SG, not a PG.

And he seems to play much differently when he's off the ball.

Calderon is trash. And yes he should be benched. But I'm not sure if we're ready for Jerian as your starting PG just yet because it seems that the 2nd unit runs less of the triangle and is more free flowing.

I honestly don't know what the solution is. But Calderon shouldn't even be getting off the bench. Same for Lance Thomas.

A Galloway/Sasha backcourt has no distributors.

I guess it's time to turn it over to Jerian and deal with all the hiccups that'll go with it? At least we'll get something/anything on defense.

                Rock and a hard place...

I get nauseous watching Calderon play defense, I get nauseous watching Galloway in play-making situations. He's an undersized SG.

I've read comments that Fisher should be fired for starting Calderon but you guys are touching on the reality.

A combo of Grant and Galloway is electric for this team. And I would argue it's even more electric with guys like O'Quinn and Williams on the court.

Melo would stop that lineups momentum to start the game.

It's not fishers fault he doesn't have the option. Starting Calderon is him making the best of it.

You could have Galloway start when they are playing an offensive minded pg. They need someone to slow point guards down

This never works. That's what Woodson kept doing. Changing lineups every day.

At this point Calderon should be out of the rotation completely unless someone gets injured.

I have no problem with benching Calderon. Its what called for from the start. He always is a waste of space.

Fisher please bench Calderon. The longer he's out there the bigger the deficit we have to overcome

                              Calderon -4

Say what you will about +/- but this is going on 3 games straight.

I get it, you don't want to damage team off court chemistry by benching the vet, but something has to give.
