Celtics win again. Now 9-1 since the Walker trade. He had another good game tonight with 24 points (11-14 FGs, 2-2 3P), 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

The Celtics are averaging 107.8 PPG since he came back. This offense is incredible right now. Now if the defense would force a few more turnovers and get a few more stops, they'd be all set.

You must be happy now, BeanTown since Kendrick is now starting over Blount. I like the new starting lineup. It's much more balanced with regards to scoring, defense and rebounding. Perk is the best outlet rebounder the Celts have and its really helping them get out on the break and leading to easy points. Raef's picked up about 7 points tonight because of it.

And the Boston Celtics are the 2005 Atlantic Division Champions. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the end of the game because FSNE got messed up w/ 25 seconds to go and never came back. I heard that Paul was a bit emotional after the victory and it's understandable. He's been through the gauntlet of emotions these past two years. It must be great for him to be headed back to the playoffs with Antoine and a great supporting cast.

I'll be at either game A or B for the playoffs. I don't know which one yet but the tickets were $50.

I'm pulling for the Nets to get that 8th spot, but I'd rather Boston do the honors, we can't afford a loss....

What a crappy ending to the season. Didn't even show up for a game 7 at home.

I'm very interested to see what changes are made by Danny. I think Antoine has played his last game as a Celtic and I wouldn't look past Pierce being traded, though I don't think it will happen. He needs to become the true leader of this team and act like it at all times. I hope that somehow, someway Blount finds his way out of town in a package deal. The future down low is looking good with Jefferson and Perk and they should be playing alongside one another much more next year.

PG is also an interesting position. Is Payton going to be back for another year? Will Banks take over? Is Delonte going to move fulltime to PG? Or will Ainge trade up in the draft and pick one?

All in all I think it will be an exciting offseason with much anticipation for next year.

I've been reading on the celtic board that they want to Trade Pierce to Portland for Travis Outlaw+Ratliff(or Miles or Randolph...to make salaries match)and the 5 pick...

I think The Celtics will take Monta Ellis in the draft. The Celtics have been scouting him a lot during the season.

Here is a great interview with Danny Ainge. It is clear that he wants to make changes to this team, not just personnel-wise, but also in character and demeanor. And I agree with him whole-heartedly on that point. What was seen on the court during the Pacers series this year was far from how the Boston Celtics should be. Things need to change and I'm very happy to see that Danny and Doc both understand that and are going to work to get that change done.
