      Re: Official Minnesota Timberwolves Thread

I am really disappointed by this season. I thought I might have a chace to watch my first MN pro team play in the championship or even win one (keep in mind i was 5 when the Twins won the WS in 1991). I really thought we would contend.

There is already an interesting decision that the T-Wolves have to think about. I think we should keep him, unless the perfect trade opportunity comes along in which we are able to get rid of Sam too for another top PG.

We do have some interesting decisions to make this off-season. For the first time in a long time we are going to have to find a coach. We have to make a decision about Spree but I hope his inconsistent play made the decision really easy for our front office. Also, there is some speculation that Kevin McHale might not be back as our GM, and I hope Glenn Taylor is not afraid to spend money again. We also have a lottery pick again.

Does anyone know who are our free agents after the year and does anyone want to speculate as to what might happen in FA, trades, coaching and/or the draft?

Garnettrules and any other T-Wolves fan here's one more on me, we deserve it after this disappointing year

i was thinking we would have 21 mil to be spending this offseason but someone informed me that we will still be over the salary cap. so i dont know how much we can do signing free agent wise.

I dont understand how that works either. We will need to do something though. From that list I hope we re-sign Eddie Griffin (higher priority) and Mark Madsen because he is such a high energy player.

today the twolves placed troy hudson on the IL and activated Ebi and he played tonight! 26 mins 8 boards 9 points 1 block 1 steal. i think hes playing the remainder of the games this season. i think its a solid effort for first game this season. hopefully we'll see alot more of him next season.

Were you able to watch the game? If so, did his play look promising?

He was dunking all over people last night. I was very impressed. I didnt exactly watch the game but I had it on as background noise but payed attention to what was going on. The funniest thing I heard is that Ebi tied the Kandi-Man for number of dunks on the year last night.

Well we have the 14th pick this year and I have already heard Hakim Warrick and Sean May mentioned as possibilities. I would be happy with either but would much rather see us move up somehow and get a PG. Also, it sounds like we wont be addressing our coaching vacancy until after the playoffs end.

I dont like either of them. If I had my choice we would have Flip back. I hope we wait and interview the Sonics coach.
