    Official Chicago Bulls

Sup bulls fans, if there are any bulls fans here, lets talk some bulls basketball and see what is needed for them to at least make the playoffs.

I think the most important element that the bulls need is team chemistry. I know their division is tough, but there's always a chance.

HUGE Bulls fan here, and I'll stay with them through the "thick and thin", hahaha. Right now I'm away at college in Tucson, AZ so I only get the nationally televised games on the big networks(of which there are none) and the WGN Superstation games(a few). I know hopes are not very high for this team this year, but I am considering getting League Pass for the first time ever, because I want to see the development of these guys like Gordon, Noconi, and Deng. I almost want to see if Chandler or Curry will ever do anything. Seeing Kirk Hinrich(my new favorite player, although he killed my college team in the 2003 NCAA tournament) is also a bonus, but I'm still torn. Tonight's game(since league Pass is on free preview), will go a long way toward determining weather I will take the plunge, since I know I won't do it after the discount ends. Thing is, I'm not really a basketball fan, just a Bulls fan. I have no problem watching the Bulls games, but I wont be watching many other out of market games. Decisions, decisions.

Anyway, in terms of the team itself, I really don't know what's going to happen. I want to be optimistic, with the sorry state of the East and all, but then again I was optimistic about the playoffs for the last 2 seasons, thinking that Chandler and Curry were going to "break out!", which obviously hasn't happened. That, combined with the fact we have 6(!) rookies on the roster means the team could go either way, theres really no preexisting resume you can draw any conclusive predictions from, other than young teams usually fail. I hope that's not the case. As long as the Bulls don't turn into a littany of late season 10-day contracts and CBA castoffs, I guess this season will be somewhat of a success(Isn't that horrible Bulls fans? I hate turning on a Bulls game toward the end of a season and seeing the likes of people like Rusty LaRue, Bryce Drew, Ronald Curry, Rick Brunson, Linton Johnson, Chris Carr, Paul Shirley, Dragan Tarlac, Kornel David, Kahlid El-Amin, Khalid Reeves, Dablior Bagarich[sp?] and others of their ilk/talent level polluting the floor with major minutes toward the end of seasons, and it has been going on for 6 years now!!!).

Bulls fan here as well. Season win total 25 - 28 wins.

        Curry needs to step up.

Tyson needs to stay healthy. He can have a monster year if he plays 75+ games.

Kirk needs to show improvement in FG% and w/ penetrating and finishing.

        Deng is a pleasant surprise.

        Nicioni is a nice addition.

Gordon I hope he finds his shot or his comfort zone in the NBA. If not Pax will look foolish picking him at #3.

Piatkowski has to do what he was brought here to do.. knock down open shots and give the Bulls a somewhat a threat from the perimeter.

Chris Duhon - a pleasant surprise. He should do well as the backup PG.

Antonio Davis - Must try to keep himself from looking old, by doing what has made him a solid NBA Player.

Pargo - Needs to provide the scoring punch off the bench.

        Just my quick take.

Here are my thoughts on this season:

I hate to say it but I think the Bulls will be near the bottom of the East once again. The only teams below them will be Atlanta & Charlotte in my opinion. But you never know. Hopefully the Bulls pull off a Denver Nuggets or a Memphis Grizzlies "wonder season", but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Eddy Curry - Be more consistent. 1 game he'd get 18 and 8 boards, the next game he'll have 8 points and 5 boards. He should be getting 20 points and at least 10 boards. He just has to put in the effort on EVERY play. I saw alot of Bulls games last year on WGN and he is quite a lazy player.

Tyson Chandler - PLEASE STAY HEALTHY!!!!! If he can overcome his back problems he will be a beast on the boards. He will be among the league leaders this year in rebounds barring injury.

Kirk Hinrich - Must improve his field goal percentage and cut down on silly turnovers.

I never saw any Bulls preseason games and have never seen Nocioni, Deng & Gordon play before so I can't really comment on them.

Which should the bulls be punished more for- allowing a 27 point lead in the first half or allwoing 9 points to Rodney Buford in only 1 minute of play?

no punishment for the bulls, they could win this game now!!!!!!!!!! they came back, if the bulls can play this type of game every game, I'm thinking playoffs already.

9 points in 1 minute. That must be some kind of record, but you know your season is not going well when you allow 9 points to buford in a game, and your down by 27 to the nets.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.
