Marks really pulled this off though.

Re: Official Brooklyn Nets Thread
Y'all ready to be one of the most hated teams in the league? Especially if KD comes back close to his old self and we're winning? I am. I embrace the hate

Re: Official Brooklyn Nets Thread
This teams jells even without K.D. and Kyrie, that's been the most interesting aspect of the preseason. Personally I don't like Kyrie and consider him a negative seed, but hopefully he has matured enough to put the team and not himself first.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment

Re: Official Brooklyn Nets Thread
That Pistons game looked to be a turning point because ever since then, the Defense has looked less sloppy, communication has improved and guys aren’t looking lost.
And as long as they can keep up this level of play on Defense and guys are missing time during to COVID or injuries, we’ll be alright headed into the ASB.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Official Brooklyn Nets Thread
So how we feeling fans, being one of the favorites for the chip for like the first time in our lifetimes?
I think the Bucks are our hardest challenge going forward (Even if we meet Philly in the ECF, i don't think they can slow us down enough to take 4 games, even if Joel will look like prime Shaq against us, and if Embiid is out for the Hawks series well....)HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Official Brooklyn Nets Thread
Not much we can do outside of some moves along the margins.
Patty Mills is a good pickup, especially after losing Spence.
Indifferent on James Johnson but he’ll be fine in that 12th-13th man role. Bringing back Blake is ok. Hearing LaMarcus is thinking about coming back so if the team doctors clear him, I wouldn’t mind bringing him back.
Hopefully they can do something with DJ, as he’s pretty much just a body at this point. They got a TE from the Dinwiddie deal so we’ll see what Marks does with that.#RespectTheCultureComment

Media Day on Sunday and then fly out to Cali for Camp before that 1st game with the Lakers on the 3rd.
Gonna be another fun season but with a different result hopefully.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Official Brooklyn Nets Thread
Thoughts from Sunday:
-Cam can score. Gonna be tough to crack the rotation on a consistent basis but on nights when one of the big 3 are out, I can see him picking up some of their minutes.
-Thought the Milsap/LA front court looked good during their time on the court and complimented each other well.
-Claxton put on some muscle over the offseason and was holding his own in the post.
-Sharpe was good as well and he’ll get plenty of opportunities in L.I#RespectTheCultureComment

Damn its been a while. Anyone still around? Thoughts on all the dumb drama? I've gone up and down on my opinions of both Kyrie and KD during this whole thing but then i'm like...well at least play a whole damn season together first before having a damn fit and cry for trades.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Official Brooklyn Nets Thread
Lol......I was so disgusted/heartbroken/pissed that I stopped playing NBA 2K 22 just after my All Star Break and, ended at me ranked #1 even with Kyrie down for most of the year.
Unfortunately, this last dance is our best bet for a championship. Still think we need a backup Point and another Big. A healthy Harris adds much. I'm still worried about Simmons.Comment
