Question for Jaybee re: Rocky Legends

I know Jaybee has Rocky Legends and enjoyed it, but anybody else is free to answer this as well. Is it just me, or is there some serious catch-up AI in this game? I just got it a few days ago, and have really enjoyed it, but yesterday was frustrating. I'm doing the Rocky path and I'm up to number 6. I was fighting this Fullmer guy (British trunks) and I was beating him senseless for the first 10 rounds, with one knock down and multiple times where he was almost down again. All of the sudden, in the last two rounds, the guy is a blocking machine. Nothing I throw connects and he hits me like 2-3 times (that I can't seem to block) and I go down. I got knocked out in the last round. I'm only playing on novice. I realize I'm not great at the game yet, but it was ridiculous. I couldn't seem to connect on any super punches either. Has anyone else had this happen?

Edit: Never mind. I figured out the problem. I hadn't figured out the combination punches. Now that I've figured that out, it's not as difficult. I'll have to move up a level. I want to unlock stuff first.

Sorry CaseyD, I missed this post the first time. Several months ago when I first got the game, I started out on novice to unlock everything and I did. I then started playing exhibition matches (FIVE 2 Minute rounds) on Contender level and was pleasantly suprised. It was difficult for me to win, and I thought the AI was great. As I got better it became easier, and I found that I needed something more challenging then Contender level. I tried Champion level but the superspeed AI was just no fun to play, and seemingly impossible to beat. I'lll still put the game in and play on Contender and lose an occasional game. I have yet to play a two player game, and being considerably better than the first Rocky, that's where the strenght of this game lies.
