Im looking for good realistic boxing games. Nothing like Ready 2 Rumble. I'd like a good game with smart AI that is realistic.

Re: Apart from the EA series, what other good boxing games exist?
There really are no others that are widely available. I have heard that the Victorious Boxers series is good but it is only available for the Playstation. The second version of the game, which is supposed to be the much better on is only available for those who can play Japanese imports.
If you are just a boxing junkie there is a very good text boxing simulation available from Out of the Park Developments (www.ootpdevelopments.com). It is called Title Bout Championship Boxing. There will be a second version coming out in the next couple of months. Sometime next year the company plans on releasing a Role-Playing version of the game that focuses more on the career of a single boxer but I haven't read that much about it.
My current hope is that Venom Games, a small UK development company that was purchased by 2K Games in December is currently working on a realistic boxing title. Venom made the Rocky boxing games, but hopefully 2K Sports has them doing a more true to life version of "The Sweet Science". -

I wish 2k games would stepped in and did a boxing game when they had the ESPN licence. It would've been nice to incorperate Bob Popa and Teddy Atlas as well as the "Tuesday and Friday night fights" theme...Oh well...
Anyway, how's the Mike Tyson boxing game? It got a 3.1 from IGN.Comment

There's really no good pure sim boxing game out there unless you want to play a text-based boxing game called TITLE BOUT CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING.
I have a web site dedicated to ideas and wishes for boxing games I'm trying to get to as many game developers and producers...
Poe is an advocate for realistic boxing videogames.Comment
