Victorious Boxers 2: Victorious Road released in US

December 6, 2005 - If you enjoyed 2001's excellent Victorious Boxers, then do we have a story for you! According to Sony Computer Entertainment's official PlayStation 2 website, Empire Interactive will be publishing the sequel known as Victorious Road in North America early next year. Listed officially as Victorious Boxers 2: Fighting Spirit, the new slugger will ship in January and has already been granted a "Teen" rating by the ESRB for cartoon violence and mild language. A further check of the ESRB's website confirms almost identical information, which means that an official announcement isn't too far on the horizon.

We attempted to contact Empire Interactive representatives as we went to press, but were unsuccessful. Expect an update... soon.

I'm never wrong. This is All-stars and it has no career mode. Trust me...or better yet, don't trust me. But either way we won't be playing VB2:boxers road on our unmodified U.S. PS2's.

Im glad that you're never wrong, and in fact very confident that it is all-stars not vb2 that we are receiving. But there is a website called IGN that disagrees with you, so why don't you show us a link or proof that it is indeed all-stars and not VB2. Maybe we can save ourselves the dissapointment. Until you do though im gonna have to believe IGN .
