Difference between B Hop and Jones like the difference between round 2 and 3

When I play as Bernard I find myself throwing a lot of haymakers and really just beating @$$ in a hurry. Thats pretty much how I played FN Round 2 with any boxer just because it was the easiest/fastest way to win.

While I found this to be slightly disconcerting, I was comforted by the fact that this strategy does not work with Roy Jones. RJ's lack of power and presecence of speed and agility makes it much harder to just beat the crap out of B Hop but easier to work him over the right way. Instead of waiting for openings and throwing haymakers, I really had to jab and weave to set up hook and uppercut combinations. I also found the parry to be a particularly effective tool with Jones because it allowed me to set up the aforementioned combos. Perhaps my most satisfying boxing videogame moment ever came when I parried a B Hop haymaker and came right back with a left hook/right uppercut combination that sent Hopkins into "knockout mode" (or whatever its called ) and allowed me to finish him off with a haymaker, the first I'd thrown with Jones the whole fight.

To me, that's how Round 3 should play and I hope that EA leans towards the Jones style rather than the Hopkins. It will be interesting to see.

Yeah Roy is nice. I just hope they have Floyd Mayweather Jr. I think EA will have it's share of brawlers and boxers. There are supposed to be some 100s of different fighting style combinations when it comes to your created players. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I understand that, I was more implying that they should tone down the heavy-hitters a little bit.
