According to game informer, 27 are open at the start and the rest are unlockble.

This is just pure speculation but I think the rest of the roster will play out something like this:

1) Win Heavyweight Title in Career Mode - Unlock Ken Norton & Ali / Norton Rivalry in Classics Mode
2) Win Light Heavyweight Title in Career Mode - Unlock Antonio Tarver & Jones Jr / Tarver Rivalry in Classics Mode
3) Win Lightweight Title in Career Mode - Unlock Shane Mosley and De La Hoya / Mosley Rivalry in Classics Mode
4) Win Pound for Pound Belt in Career Mode - Unlock Floyd Mayweather Jr
5) Win Hard Hits Bout in Career Mode - Unlock Rocky Marciano

What is up with these boxers that were in the PSP video that Steve put up today? You can't say they are all just last year's fighters because new addition Calvin Brock was in there. I am guessing it is just early footage of the game.

Hmmm it seems that more than 5 fighters on that list are NOT on the partial roster from the ea website (Mayweather, Mosley, Byrd, Marciano, Norton, Gainer, Kelley, Liston, Mayorga, Cotto, Achondo, and Marquez [both of them]).

So unless they have more than 32 fighters why would they license certain boxers to the PSP but not to the 360?

Thats my question! It seems like they kept all the old fighters in the PSP version and still added De La Hoya. Kudo said that feature wise all versions would be the same. I will be pissed if the PSP version has Mayweather and Mosley and the 360 version (The more expensive version) doesnt.
