In the demo on the default control system (#3?) you can use the face buttons, but I don't think they change from left to right (like a left hook and a right hook) but it is good to use for a quick punch, since it reacts quicker than the right analog stick.

Yep, either with controller setup 2 or 3.

You can switch hands with that setup. 1 button is a jab, one is a cross, one is a right hook and one is a left hook.

You can use buttons, but there is no way to haymaker with the buttons. So they are good to score some quick punches and impress the judges, but it will be hard to KO your opponent just using the buttons.

cool. I'll go with the analog stick. I've been kicking RJ's butt with it. I'm going to see if I can beat Hopkins with RJ.

Were there camera options last year? In the demo, while the camera is pretty good, for me, it's too close to the action. I'd like to take a back just a hair.

Yep, there were either 4 or 5 last year. I think there are 6 now.

Yeah they are good for scoring points. But the cross is pretty lethal in this game (at least on the demo), especially when counter punching (not parrying) haymakers/impact punches.

So just a "normal" right cross actually has some pop on it finally? Or is it pretty worthless still unless you're countering a cheese punch?

Yep just the normal cross. It's especially useful when gauging how hurt the other fighter is, and when countering the impact/cheese punches. The jab is still wack though.
