Hmmm I guess you guys dont know about them yet.
I am not telling you what I mean , but some of them are unblockable if used to a certain area.
No question its cheese.
No, like the different degrees of haymakers, they are fairly easy to block.
Anybody have any tips on how to block Frazier's special punches. His low and high punch have identical animations, so its basically a guessing game on whether to block high/low...And you can jab out of it, but its pretty tough cause the punch is so quick.. Any ideas?
If you have a quick fighter just back away from your opponent and you will no longer be in range. The best way is just to confuse your opponent with your movement so that they can't line you up for it. Keep them off balance with those jabs! The people who don't learn how to jab are in some serious trouble this year!

Jab and move to your fighter's left (away from the punch).. stay out of his range.. if you're moving away from the punch it's easier to evade and even if it hits you it will do slightly less damage.. Just keep moving to the left throwing jab combos.. If you fight a guy throwing those constantly, you just have to survive the first half of the fight without letting him get consistent shots on you and he'll be too tired to keep up with you.

A guy who used Medrick Taylor's special punch throughout the fight, knocked me (Lamotta) down twice in the 1st round. After I settled down I basically blocked high and ripped him to the body. After a while he caught on, and tried to do some body work of his own. I was knocked down again in the 3rd, but Taylor had loss steam (the guy threw at least 60 special punches by this time) and I knocked him down 3 times in the next two rounds. He was counted out in the 5th. He was the highest rated fighter(4) I had ever beat, so I guess his strategy paid off on occasion.
I say NO. I actually like it when someone uses it alot because I usually beat them. If you throw lots of jabs you will stop it every time. I just fought a guy who usd the special punch atleast 50 times, he landed 5 of them. But his health was much lower than mine so they didn't effect me that much.
