Re: What's your record so far?
I have to disagree for a few reasons. Since the online service is not free for Xbox users I feel there is nothing wrong with expecting an enjoyable online experience. I feel I have even more of a right to get irritated by the situation because people are punished for using the disconnect tactic in Madden. Why would they not anticipate it for the online version of this game?
Just on a personal level I do not like to feel cheated or have my time wasted, regardless of whether I am playing a game or trying to get a promotion at work. And even if it seems trivial/anal/overserious/overzealous I do not like people to be rewarded for having little integrity. Not that I am perfect by any means.
And I am not even going to pretend that I don't want that game on my record somewhere. I will play a hard, clean game within the rules and have fun doing it, but after the game I want a win, loss or tie reflected somewhere. It is always nice to have a sense of accomplishment when competing against other people. Or in my case with Madden a sense of generally getting my tail handed to me! My final record this year was something like 140-200.
Just my 0.02.Comment

Re: What's your record so far?
Well you may be right on all of that.. but I guess the question is, are you really willing to videotape all the games and actually go through the hassle of sending something in to EA in order to get a win on your record? I mean, does it mean that much to you? If it does, then I guess go for it. But you should remember that there is a difference between reality (i.e.: a promotion) and virtual reality (i.e.: a win on fight night).I personally do not think that a promotion at work and a win on an online videogame are comparable on any level, but to each his own.

Re: What's your record so far?
I had a tense light heavyweight fight online tonight. Jones (me) vs Toney. He took the first round and then dropped me in the second. I then took the next three rounds on the cards. He dropped me twice in the sixth as I ate a few too many uppercuts. In the seventh I managed to trap him on the ropes and dropped him to the canvas. When he got back up I was able to pin him against the ropes again and drop him for the second time for the 10 count!
If he had escaped the round we would have gone into the 8th round tied on two scorecards with him up by two rounds on the third judge's scorecard. His Live tag was Zeekill - much props to this guy. Solid defense, good sport and a wicked counter uppercut.Comment

I fought someone who was 160-12 or something like that. Obviously he was a button masher and his player did not tire.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Originally posted by NYG_MethLast night I found myself at 74-10. I decided I'd fight once more to try and finish the night 75-10, and try and get onto the top 100. Started the fight, threw my first jab and it froze. I got a message saying my connection was lost. My cable was still plugged in, and I was able to sign right back on without a problem. When I got back on, my record was 74-11, and my DNF% had gone from 0% to 1%. I'm quite pissed off, and I'm not just gonna sit back and take it. I'm calling EA tomorrow during business hours. I WONDER what they'll have to say lol. I guess it's worth a try though, I hate that it tells everyone that I've quit a fight early.

> FINAL RESPONSE: That's garbage. I've had people quit against me numerous times without it counting against their record. What's your explanation for that? Thanks for permanently staining my record and screwing over the customer once again, EA.
