18-14, I've one 6 in a row after my disqualification. I just beat a level 7 fighter.

I'm 9-8, I threw in the towel one fight by accident that I was easily winning. Two of my losses were a level 19 and a level 18 guy so I just fight guys within 3 of my level now. 2 guys I beat today were 0-0 so It was there first beat down they ever had.

Yeah, two of my losses were supposed to be practice matches against a far superior friend of mine (we've had about 10 unranked matches), one was a disqualification, and another was the result of a dead battery in my wireless.

I hate this damn game. I was going for the top 100 AGAIN. I was 124-24, going for one more to put me in the top 100. What happens? It's the first round, I'm pummeling this guy with Ali, all of a sudden everything stops... again. "You have lost your connection"... AGAIN! My DNF had gone back to 0%. Now I was 124-25 DNF: 1%. I fought a couple more to redeem myself, rather the stupid game's connection crap, so now I'm 127-25, no longer close to the top 100. AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fought the #2 guy on Xbox tonight. Corrales vs Escobedo (me - figured I would try him). The fight went seven rounds with him finally ending it after knocking me down for the 4th time. I managed to take Round 3 on two of the cards but that was it. Dude was a mad crazy puncher with Corrales. In seven rounds he threw almost 1300 punches. Something that make we wary of Corrales is that even after all throwing 1300 punches and taking 300 body shots he was still coming out at the beginning of the rounds with full stamina. Don't see myself ever beating this guy. On a positive note though he only connected on 52% of his shots to my 71%.

Currently at 54-13 overall ranked 74 on Xbox.

You know it says waiting for OTHER player on both ends?
You can only tell who dropped by the win loss record.
It might say waiting for other player but it is YOU that is timing out. If you get the loss it was you who dropped. It alwasy says other player.
The entire rant and emailings to EA was probably in vain. It was their servers that dropped you most likely but if you got the loss YOU are the one that lost connect.
Removing power or modem or anything like that does not work you will always get the loss.
Next time it says waiting for other player ask them if it says the same on their side.
Cheapness by EA I suppose.
