When does your boxer start losing it (age wise)

Just curious, I am 32 years old in the game and was wondering how long I have before I start sucking real bad. Right now I am 38-6 (37 KO) with my self in the middle weight class.

p.s. Is there any way to go up a class ?

Not sure. I'm about 30 myself, also a middle-weight, and 34-5 with 34 KOs. Wow, you won by dicesion one time? Didn' think it was possible. Well, I am playing on normal only though. The game has gotten harder. I just lost two matches in a row!!

Not sure about being able to go up in weight class, although I think it has to be possible in order to win a unified belt award no?

If you fight realistically and dont make every fight a slugfest you will see a few decisions. I have had 2 decision wins and a majority draw in my career.

The longest fights I've had have been eight rounds. By then, both boxers are hurt enough that one knockdown keeps them down. I don't think I go out there swinging all the time, but I do have a pretty high punch count, so I probably do and don't realize it. My fights average about four rounds.

But I do start out with jabs and work the body alot. But I throw alot of combinations. Ok fine, I'm a slugger.

I don't know how you guys knock people out so easily. I am 2-0 with 2 decisions on the hard setting. I knocked one guy down and the other guy was about to go at the end, but 4 rounds just isn't much time for me.

Well, once you go pro you'll have more rounds to knock someone out. Plus, you're playing on hard and at the beginning, your guy is pretty weak. Once your boxer's stats improve you should start getting KOs.

Since I'm playig on normal, KOs are easier.

my decision was a 3 round fight I think........Sugar Ray Leonard wooped my butt early in my career. Fought last night and it was the best fight ever. Went 9 rounds. First knock down was in the 6th when he put me down........I put him down in the 8th and 9th round. Did better when i started working the body some.

Sugar Ray owns me in my career. I am 1-2 against him and dread facing him. His defense is fantastic and he seems to block anything I throw at him. Each time I face him he gets faster too. This last time was just ugly. I won the first couple rounds and then in was all Leonard the rest of way until he knocked me out in the 6th. That boy's fast!

yes he is tough. When I beat him what I did was start off with 2 jabs to the body with my right hand (I am a southpaw), then a left hook to the head. Or jab and step away. Definitely get killed when you start trying to go toe to toe with him. I read on one of the game menus to work the body on fast guys to slow them down.
