Weight class ? in career mode

How do you change weight classes? I'm about 20 or so fights into my middleweight career and I've seen that there is a P4P belt.

Anyone know?

After you win the belt in your weight class the game will let you fight a championship fight in other weightclasses, the ones directly above and below you. The only way you can change weightclasses is after winning the belt in the class you started in. At least thats how it was in R2.

I have the middleweight belt and haven't seen anything about fighting other classes.

You'll automatically switch to Light Heavyweight as the next milestone after you win the belt. Once your meter gets full, your contract will say something like Become Light Heavyweight if you win. Lame huh?

Yep. Oh well. At least I won't have to go thru a light heavyweight career to unlock those fighters 'fight store packages and styles' (I HOPE).
