When Rocky VI was first rumoured there were stories circulating that Stallone really wanted Vin Diesel to play the champ. I would have loved that. But I think they gave Sly a very limited budget so half of that would have gone to Vin's paycheck.

Anway, I'm so geeked for this movie. I love all the Rocky films (including Rocky V!) so I can't wait for this.

I don't think Stallone could have gotten Vin away from his fact making life. He has to keep up with Chuck Norris you know.

FACT:

Vin Diesel was originally casted as the Champion in Rocky 6 but was replaced after numerous tries to have him lose the championship fight because of his inability to lose a fight... even if its a fake one.

I thought Vin Diesel turned down the champion role because he didn't want to lose the make believe fight.

So what are they going to have Rocky doing? Winning the title again?

They filmed 4 different endings and so far the cut has screened well, but don't know which ending they picked. I am sure it will be a last minute decision after they screen it more. This movie being moved to December definitely shows the studio is a little surprised about the quality.
