Just some ideas for Round 4...

I was playing this game and I was thinking. Hmm, wouldn't it be cool to affect punching speed? I mean, if this game added a slider system we could adjust everything. We could adjust the speed of both boxers moving in the ring(but the one with the higher agility attribute would move faster still) We could adjust the speed for haymakers, stun punches, and flash KO's. We could make fights a little longer and more dramatic by adding a little more chin and stamina. We could also affect the rate at which the CPU and USER tire. I just think, if done right, a slider system for a boxing game would be amazing. If your tired of knocking people out in the second round every fight, adjust the CPU's chin and body rating and the users punch power. Tired of the messed up fatigue factor? Correct it yourself. If implemented right, this would be amazing. Tired of the CPU parrying you to much, how about a slider that tones up/down parrying speed? Sound good? I think it does.

Maybe we could actually have boxers "BOX" next game and play to their advantages. I mean, if there was some sort of tendency system it thing might work.(Like jab/cross tendencies, uppercuts etc.) But it would have to be done EXTREMELY well, and probably will not happen.

An entrance editor would also be nice. Maybe even an animation generator for full control.(Like in Smackdown! Vs. Raw 2k6[I think]) Think of it, you could actually have B-Hop doing the "Executioner" taunt in his entrance.

Also for Career Mode they can step it up SEVERAL notches. Having boxer faces swell, bruise, and even drip trace amounts of blood would be amazing.

That's all I got for now. If any of this gets in, it's definetely the Slider setting for me. Tendencies can wait, or not happen at all. Just have the boxers box and I'll be fine.

MoMagic, you bring up some great ideas but I wouldn't hold your breath on EA implementing any of them.
We've had wishlists here, on IGN, on several other boards since the first Fight Night came out requesting certain options but Kudo ignores ALL of them.
He seriously couldn't care less about his consumers. The online gamers are the only ones he really cares about and even then he gives them the finger with some of the things he adds or doesn't add.
As long as EA makes money on this title Kudo won't listen to one thing you have to say.
Even the Q&A's are a joke. He consistantly lies on all of them. Some so blatant they would make OJ look like Mother Theresa.

The only way you're ever going to see any kind of change or growth in this series is if someone else develops a boxing game. Now that we've gotten wind of Take Two stepping into the ring, Kudo and EA will probably give us some of the things we've been begging for.
But because of all of Kudo's lies and propensity to take things away or add rediculous options to the Fight Night series I will never buy another one of EA's games until Kudo is fired.
Not only is he a cowardly liar but he obviously knows nothing nor cares nothing about boxing.

Wow, thats just sad.. Oh well, maybe Take Two can do something like that. I played NFL 2K5 and it is still better than the Madden games although I do play Madden 360 a lot because I have a 360. The NBA2k series is miles better than the Live series. Well, we'll just have to wait and see. I know Take Two almost never disappoints, and I believe they will have some sort of slider system and entrance editor... Well, that's what I hope.

Me too. Take Two always takes their sports title seriously and tries to give us the best simulation possible.
And you know they're going to have a great career mode. FN Rd3's career mode is beyond pathetic.

Alot of these ideas and wishes are on the wishlist we have on the IGN and Fight Night Ringside boards.

I like the tendencies ideas. This was an idea of mines on the list.I hope if it's implemented it's similiar to NFL2k's tendency thing they had(I forget what it was called)
