Originally posted by thelwig14I totally agree. Can we please take the gloves off next year? You are doing everyone a disservice.
As for a disservice, I have no idea what you are talking about. In the review, I mentioned a few instances where Kudo lied. Did I call him out by name? No, because by doing that I would be doing our readers a disservice. You guys want access to new information that comes out like screenshots and videos. You guys want a Q and A before the game comes out. Do you honestly think EA or Kudo would grant us that if we made it personal by calling out a producer by name?Comment

Originally posted by aholbert32Are you guys ****ing serious? One, The questions for the Q and A arent created by the OS staff. THEY ARE CREATED BY YOU! The forum posters. So if you wanted to call out Kudo on a FN2 lie, YOU should have placed that question in the Q and A questions thread when you had a chance. Also, I wasnt aware of any lies about features that I cared about from FN2, so I didnt have anything to call him out about.

First, I submitted questions that were deemed too negative. For a site that lets everyone express their opinions (good or bad) on games, the interviews and contact with the developers is too fanboy. Issues with games are routinely discussed on this site and even when they are approached to developers, they are asked in a way that doesn't get the point of across.
Disservice? Yes, not acknowleding issues and complaints hurts the producer and consumer. As far as calling out dip**** by name, no one ever said that.
Operationsports has the privilege of being able to have contact with producers such as Kudo. Therefore, they have an obligation to let Kudo know that the career mode, roster, etc. are unacceptable. Period.
You can acknowledge this post however you see fit, but I am done with this topic because nothing will ever change.Comment

"With only 32 boxers, why are you continuing to put forth a lackluster effort in the roster area? There was as much or more 6 or 7 years ago on the PS1. Where is Foreman, Moorer, Lewis (used to be a coverboy), Klitschkos (were in once), Holmes, Lyle, Brewster, Valuev, Peter, Spinks, Bowe, etc...........
Will there still be an abundance of fake boxers in the career mode with purple colored dreadlocks?
If Ali or anyone for that matter gets parried, will he act like he hit a wall as hard as he could and almost collapsed?"
First, Did Steve tell you your questions were too negative? Because I cant find a post that shows that he did and he was the one who organized and submitted them.
Also dont get mad at OS just because you cant fine an nonsarcastic and non offensive way to ask a question. Your questions above are filled with sarcasm and were actually answered in the QA. They were just answered in responses to questions from posters who know how to present a question in a mature manner.
Finally, the OS review discussed all of the issues that you name with the career mode and the smaller roster, so what is your point?Comment

Originally posted by fistofrageSo are you saying that Kudo gets access to the review and you are certain he reads it?
With that said, it seems that most of you have a misconception about our contact with Kudo. Nobody on this staff knows him personally. We send the Q and A to EA's PR reps and they pass it on to Kudo. We submit every question that is posted in the Q and A thread as long as it isnt repetitive or insulting. Kudo chooses which questions he wants to ask him and he answers them the way he wants too.
It is not an interview. No one on the staff sits down and talks to Kudo. No one on this staff interviews him over the phone. So there is no chance for a follow up question. If there was I would definently ask him deeper and more hard hitting questions but thats not the way it is.
If we have a problem with FN, we handle it the only way we know how. That is to mention it in the review and call them out. I feel we did that in the review. To be honest, there are about 4 of you who waste a ridiculous amount of energy getting angry and making angry posts about this game. The best way to show EA that you arent happy is to not buy FN 3 or 4 and/or buy 2k games. I just dont see the point of posting here again and again, when its likely Kudo doesnt even see this. If you hate the direction of the game, SHOW THEM WITH YOUR WALLET!Comment

Originally posted by fistofrageWell, I assume I am one of the 4 that you are adressing...Anyway 4 of us aren't going to make a difference. We need to find an organized way to get our point accross. I wish I had or knew of a way to contact Kudo but I dont. I would talk to him about some of the same issues alot of you guys have with the game.Comment

These boards are the only way I can think of to get our voices heard. But obviously not loud enough.
And we have to handle it in a professional manner. It's business, and you have to handle it like a business. I agree that one can not be sarcastic and ignorant. I think OS did as well as they could with the questioning. The guy would STILL probably stick to his guns, and say this game is a Vast improvement over last year. I don't have the game, so I can't call him out either way.
Anyway, we have to be heard Now... because Now is when changes can be made.Comment
