Just how broken is the Stamina in FN3

My boxer had a Stamina of 1!!! & in a 8 round bout I threw over 800 punches.. Now the stamina is a improvment over FN2.. I noticed that my punches did get slower, but not enough to limit my punch output..It seems you lose more stamina by getting the crap beat out of you instead of punching a lot..Even missing a lot of haymakers didn't do much..I just started throwing punches slower for a lil bit..I wasn't button mashing either..Just keep busy with my jab..looking for openings & countering..

Just curious what weight class you were fighting at. I find that stamina at Featherweight/Lightweight/Welterweight is pretty pointless. It seems about impossible for someone to punch themselves out. I do notice the difference in stamina at the higher weight classes though. It could probably be better, but the game is not shooting to mirror a real boxing match so I guess it is okay.

Does the bottom fatigue gauge represent a loss of power, speed or both? I mean if your fighter's bar is down to 80% and your opponents is 40% does that mean you have 4/5 of your fighters power and your opponent only has two 2/5 of his boxer?

The one thing that really bothered me about this game was that stamina ratings seemed to have no effect on the CPU at all.
Your opponent could have a very low stamina rating and they could still throw AND MISS several punches a round with no effect.

This has been exactly my experiance. I have gear which improves my fighter's stamina 20% and yet somehow I fight guys with less stamina than me who throw more punches of every kind and somehow have much more stamina...

How pathetically bad is it? I just fought a guy against whom I had a one point advantage in stamina, plus shorts which were supposed to give me an additional 20%

He threw 413 punches; 90 jabs....I threw 228; 119 jabs and yet somehow I lost about twice as much stamina as him
