On a serious note, there should be none. But since Kudo sucks, I would pray that he would add an option to turn them on/off. Anyone who thinks those goofy punches are cool has never watched a bigtime boxing match.

Before I die, I would love a sim oriented boxing game with Ali, Lennox, and the Klitschkos. If this happens, I would be ecstatic.

I think they will do a punch where you can rotate the stick around to the 6 oclock position, swing it around 360 degrees twice really fast, and then 360 degrees the opposite direction backwards from 6 o clock to 6 again, which will allow you to rip your opponent's head off and beat him with it.

They were going to add it last year, but could not get the animation right.

Yeah, I hope the big headline is that they took all that BS out and actually implemented a good one punch knockdown/knockout SYSTEM, based on power/chin/stamina/angles/etc, damn lazy bastages.

I've posted some of these before on other boards but I'll revisit them here:

- Go-Go Gadget Jab - Stretch your jab across the ring to smack your opponenet around.
- Atomic Groin Punch - If the ref ain't lookin, launch this punch between your rivals legs and watch his groin explode into 1000 peices.
- Indiana Jones 2 Heart Grab - When Tyson said that he wanted to eat Lennox Lewis's heart nobody took it literally...except Kudo. Now you can reach in, rip out your opponenets heart and eat it to obtain his energy and skills. You will probably be deducted a point for this, but it won't matter because your opponent will be dead.
Rubber Neck - not a punch, but using your analog sticks you can manipulate your neck to dodge, dip, dive, duck and dodge your opponents best shots.
Frankenstein mode - when you defeat your mortal enemies you can rip off their limbs to steal their skills. Beat on Ali and rip off his legs to 'dance like a butterfly'. Take Liston's arm for that piston like jab. Tear away Marciano's jaw. The possibilities are endless.

All of these features are brought to you by Kudo and EA. They're here to give you the most realistic boxing experience ever! And what says realisitc like Stun Punch???? That's what I thought.
Now excuse me while I go back to my boxing club to practice my own stun punch. I can't believe I never thought of this before. Now, when I'm in trouble, I'll throw my stun punch to keep them off. It's a very hard punch to master. Most of the time you either KO them, or at the least knock them down. But that's not what I'm trying to accomplish, I only want to stun them.
Thank you Kudo for making me realise that the stun punch is possible in real life and incredibly usefull!

It doesn't matter ..If take 2's game is anywhere near a simulation I am all over it and would look back as far as purchasing fight night rd 4...I have enough of Kudo!!!

Yeah, he was probably too busy getting the Burger King into the game.
But I read that this year he's going to spend more money on getting Ronald McDonald, Jack in the Box, Wendy and even the Colonol. Harold and Kumar are also expected to represent White Castle.
Man I love Kudo! What crazy stuff will this boxing genius think of next?

There's already a freakin' super parry, too bad the comp has it (how is it possible that I parry their jab and they recover right after but I throw a jab and my guy is standing like it is FNR2 and getting 3 haymakers right at the face...)

the next big punch will be "THE SUCKER PUNCH" because we were all tricked into buying this game. at first i was ecstatic about this game simply because on the hard level the computer did not use the haymaker with abandon like in fight night 2. but then ONE HUGE AI exploit i found was that the computer CANNOT block body shots as well as jabs, hooks, and uppercuts. therefore, if you keep attacking the body, you will eventually win almost everytime!!!! although i admit that when i didn't observe this, the game was pretty decent...anways like i said the new punch will be:

"THE SUCKER PUNCH"!!!!!!!
