Complex, I haven't personaly seem him fight but everyone says it would be Antonio Margirito (Spelling). Other than what I've heard about him I don't think anyone can go 12 with PBF and win, he is just systematic the way that he breaks down his opponents over the course of a fight.

Maybe Ricky Hatton could give him some trouble.

Hatton has the best chance. Margarito is a big, strong, accurate puncher but also slow and predictable. Floyd would most likely pick off the majority of his punches with ease. Hatton is the only guy that I would be nervous about if they ever do fight.

actually, PBF should have 1 loss right now, but due to a VERY controversial decision, he still has a perfect record. don't get me wrong, because i think PBF is one of the most exciting fighters to watch...he DESTROYED gatti (although, many believe, or actually, a majority believe, that gatti is overrated)...but honestly, go watch the jose luis castillo and pbf fight..jose luis castillo should have got the win...he had a higher percentage of shots landed along with power shot connections...so in my opinion, PBF should have had one loss to his credit against jose luis castillo...

BUT, right now, i think that ricky hatton or antonio margarito would give PBF the most trouble....if we could only bring back a tito trinidad in his prime to face PBF...what a fight that would be..AWESOME welterweight match that would be....

In PBF's defense, against Castillo he came back and clearly won their second meeting.

De La Hoya looked rejuvinated last night, we may see a trilogy between these 2 down the road as this will be the biggest pay per view event in a long time.

i agree that de la hoya looks rejuvenated and completely outclassed and surprisingly outpowered mayorga. BUT i don't think there will be enough of a draw to have a trilogy between these two because of the lopside result of the match considering leading up to this, mayorga trained his hardest for this match..

i think dlh vs. pbf is now called for...nice drama lines would surround the match with pbf's father being dlh's trainer, pbf's perfect record, or possibly, dlh's last match to try and be the first fighter to beat pbf..what a way that would be to go out of the ring...

Ricky Hatton would smash PBF's dinky little grin to pieces, and he knows it.

I believe Shane Mosley would have a chance, but nobody will buy into that theory.

The only fighter that has a chance against Floyd MUST combine power and speed. And, he must get to Floyd early before Floyd figures them out. There is no better conditioned fighter on the planet -- not even close. The guy spars 15 minutes rounds and they rotate fighters in...

Right now, Zab probably was the fighter to do it. I don't see anybody else having the power + speed to do it. Hatton... well... maybe he's had a chance, but he'd have about 3-4 rounds... if Floyd isn't out by then, forget it.

Re: Who has the greatest chance to defeat PBF?

I don't see why people think Hatton will even last with Floyd, let alone beat him. Last night, he showed that shifty fighters with quick hands give him trouble, Collazo had him rocked in the 12th and just couldn't finish the deal...you guys really think he has a chance against PBF??? I don't think so, Floyd is WAY too fast for him and would beat him to every exchange, he'd have the ability to hit him at will. Also I don't think Hatton's pressure and crowding style would work because Floyd is way too shifty and quick to allow himself to get hemmed up and hit, he'd be able to roll off of a lot of Hatton's offense.

Right now, IMO there isn't one fighter that can hang with Floyd or beat him right now but I guess if you forced me to pick, I'd say De La Hoya.

                        Bah.
I think it was the southpaw faactor as well as moving up that hurt Hatton. He didnt think Collazo hit that hard and kept marching into his jab.
PBF will have trouble with Hatton especcially after he tunes up more.

I think DeLaHoya has a shot to beat PBF. He is big and strong and fast he could do it. Shane Mosley could too I bet but he doesnt pack enough bank.

For now I will pull for DLH to ruin him.
Heck Zab Judah gave him trouble, Hatton wont back up like Zab did after he got hit.

I dont buy the PBF hype P4P BS anyway incase you didnt notice. He is very beatable. Plus he is a punk ***.

Zab gave him trouble for what, like 3 or 4 rounds? After that, Floyd figured him out and it was TOTAL domination by him...against the one guy a lot of experts thought was the guy to beat him. It's not about "hype" with PBF, the proof is in the pudding...he has the best all around game in the sport and there is NO ONE on his level right now, he's untouchable. I don't get this about him being beatable...who exactly has proven that??? Ummmm no one, that's who. He's still unbeaten and hasn't even really been pushed in a fight since the first fight with Castillo. He's shown he can beat all types of fighters too, he can beat brawlers, technical fighters, or guys with lightning quick hands and are elusive. I mean seriously, what more does he have to do to gain his rightful respect? I can understand why a lot of people are tuned off by his personality and out of the ring antics but you can't dismiss the talent and his accomplishments.

I don't think it will happen. Floyd been calling out Oscar for the past 6 years and Oscar's been ducking him. I see no reason why that should change.

I don't think Oscar wants any of PBF... The whole thing with Mayorga was so that Oscar could erase the image of him prone on the canvas because Bernard Hopkins got all in his liver... So he fights a predictably wild fighter in Mayorga, beats him silly, and restores his image... I don't think he can handle the speed of PBF...
