    Fight Night Round 3 Problem

Has anyone else found this game to be way too easy? I had a career going with Evander Holyfield as a heavyweight, and I was 43-2 with 43 knockouts. My two losses came from the fights both being called because of a cut I had in each of them. I won every round up until that point.

Last night, I decided to mess around. I randomly chose a featherweight fighter to go up against a heavyweight. I picked Erik Morales to fight Evander Holyfield (both random). As a featherweight, I knocked Holyfield down 3 times, and he only knocked me down once! The fight ended up being called in the 10th round because of another stupid cut. There is NO WAY a featherweight could do that against a talented heavyweight!

Even on the hardest level, this game is a cake walk.

Offline in this game is pointless. The game is only good when playing against someone online.

I haven't tried online play with it yet.

By the way, I play on the "Hard" level. EA needs to take it up another notch in difficulty.

Why does this company continue to struggle with realism in their sports games right out of the box? Most of their titles are years in the making, and they still require drastic adjustments for realism.

The entire game is a problem for true "sim boxing fans". I love the graphics and hate the gameplay on and offline.

Great post. This games gameplay is pure garbage. Not even remotely close to real boxing.

If you don't enjoy FN3, try "Boxers Road 2" it's an import game for PS2. I have it and it frickin great.

"Boxers Road 2," huh? I'll have to check it out. Maybe I can find some gameplay footage somewhere online.

                Thanks for the tip!

I don't think you'll be disappointed. The career mode is the deepest of any sports game out there.
But be warned, the graphics are from an Anime so it looks like a cartoon. But don't be fooled. The boxing engine is superior to Fight Nights.

OK, THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO FIGHT THIER BUDDIES OFFLINE(SAME TV, SAME ROOM) .. I'VE BEEN ARGUING WITH MY FRIEND FOR MONTHS THAT THE RED CORNER(RIGHT SIDE) IS AT A BIG DISADVANTAGE FROM THE BLUE CORNER,, WE'VE HAD LIKE 300 FIGHTS AND EVERYTIME IM IN THE BLUE I KNOCK HIM OUT BY THE 7TH ROUND HOWEVER IF I FIGHT IN THE RED CORNER AND FIGHT THE BEST FIGHT POSSIBLE ,LAMPLEY WILL ALMOST ALWAYS SAY SOMETHING POSSITIVE ABOUT THE BLUE CORNER EVEN WHEN I WITHOUT DOUBT WIN THE ROUND AND EVERYTIME IT GOES THE DISTENCE THE BLUE CORNER GETS THE DICISION AND JUDGE #1 IS MOST ON CRACK SCORING LIKE 5 -6 POINTS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS. I'VE GOTTEN DECISIONS IN THE RED CORNER ON FIGHTS THAT I'VE JUST DOMINATED BY LIKE A POINT OR 2 ,, ITS CRAZY, HE SWEARS HE'S BETTER THEN ME .. ITS THE FREAKIN CORNER I KNOW IT ...ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY INPUT TO THIS OR IS IT JUST ME??
THE FIGHT IS NOT EVEN BETWEEN BLUE AND RED.. I KNOW IT IS BAD A.I. OR SUMIN....IF YOU'VE HEARD ANY THING ABOUT THIS BEIGN TRUE PLEASE POST SO I CAN RUB IN HIS FACE
