    Fight night needs a better presentation and stat system etc;

    Fight night needs a better presentation and stat system, etc; Atomsphere means alot in every sports so Fight Night needs to capture that realism like every other sports game, the booing, the ooh's and ah's mean a lot. The chanting for your favorite boxer,booing your most disliked one or inactivity from both fighters. We should be able to see referees and judges. We should hear commentary of a boxing match and sometime the camera should switch to a picture in picture view of the commentators talking.
    What happened to stats(fastest Ko,fastest first round KO,most punches in a bout etc The presentation visuals should really capture boxing,not some dead dreary looking enterface.
    Boxing is managers,referees,judges,reporters,fans,magazines, news articles(how hard can text be!),rankings,countries, and most of all a wide selection of boxers from all over the planet!

    PEACE!

        If you paid attention to what I had written you would of noticed these are key elements of a boxer's career!

          I see nothing wrong with focusing on the action inside the ring rather than the fluff you mentioned. Picture in picture of announcers sounds lame. Not being able to take see the judges does nothing to take away from the presentation. Other than punch stats and key statistics, who cares about fastest this or most that? The last thing I want a video game to focus on is the fans. Should Fight Night also cut away from your fight to show the obligatory fistfight in the stands?

          Some of the stuff you mentioned would be welcome additions to the series, such as better crowd sounds, more boxers, and improved visuals. The rest is just going to draw away from what the game is; a realistic boxing button masher.

              The sad part is until Fight Night has some competition,EA will continue to half a$$ this game.Here's to hoping 2K throws they're hat into the ring and creates the best boxing game to date.

                No, I am quite the fan of boxing. However, I could not tell you who has the fastest KO or the most punches in a bout. It's not important to me. I'm willing to bet that none of the boxing analysts could tell you either.

                The things you mentioned may appeal to you, but that doesn't mean that you're the only one playing the game. I want EA to focus on the mechanics and the career mode. Get those right, and then they can work on the garbage as the series moves on.

                  You must have the Playstion 2 version, I would guess. I'm not just a fan, I boxed 15 years of my life. Yes, the career mode was lame! You tell me what you think a career in a game should be like..hmmmm?

                  ps. Most analyst know that the quickest knockout occurred in Atlantic City New Jersey in 1984 it was 8 sec.

                    Actually, it is the Xbox version.

                    Fastest KO in history is 4 seconds in 2000 with Russell Rees knocking out Des Sowden with the first punch. As I said, most analysts wouldn't know this. Is it really that important?

                      One thing EA is not good at is atmosphere, except for the NCAA football series. Until the game becomes more sim and less arcade, I will stay away from the series...
