Well what he did with the 2K football game was leave these coded messages that had to be deciphered and at the end a "surprise" would be revealed. The messages really led you to believe that he knew that 2K had a generic football game in the works and this was done for, I believe, a whole week. It got really hyped up and a lot of people were banking on 2K putting out a generic football game. Basically, it got way out of hand and Blue-Lightning didn't really do anything but add fuel to the fire.

Saturday comes and we find out that the "surprise" is that Blue-Lightning has set up a website to try and convince 2K to put out a generic football game. He didn't have any more information than the rest of us. A lot of people got really upset with him and wanted him to stop being a mod on the 2K boards, but it looks like that didn't happen. So yeah, I don't really trust the guy.

Yeah, Blue Lightning needs to keep his mouth shut. Why they still let him moderate on those boards is beyond me.

Exactly. You wouldn't believe the dust he kicked up with his '2K generic' football game.
He even had the community there vote on City monikers to be used in the game.
I wouldn't believe him if he told me water was wet.

No one knows for sure as nothing's been confirmed. However, if I were a betting man, I'd bet that they will come out with a game before 2008.
