This fight happened 5-6 years too late... I blame B-Hop for that... If he hadn't beaten Trinidad, the next fight was most definitely going to be Jones/Trinidad, both at the peaks of their careers. I wasn't gonna shell out any dough for it, and with the nasty weather around here, I wasn't gonna bother going to the local sports bar to watch it. Taylor/Pavlik II will be another story, however.

The fight was a pay per view sparring session. It was somewhat entertaining but Trinidad cannot hurt RJJ because of his weight. Those of you who think Roy looked so good, lets see if he looks as good against someone whose punching power could knock RJJ out. This is why he lost to Tarver and Johnson. Let's see if he really challenges himself next go around rather than get his head swollen from beating a natural 154 pounder who does not belong in the 170 pd weight classComment
