The reason Calzaghe is right handed could be because you can switch hands like you could in Knockout Kings.

Regarding the guy he's fighting, is that Cotto?

Scratch that thought. Cotto doesnt have a tattoo.

you beat me to it...i went searching for cotto pics and he doesn't have that tattoo. But i found a funny short forum thread where guys are trying to pick 'the best pound for pound tatoo' they show tyson, kessler, and others, but it looks like kessler's won the vote lol.

Exactly. It's Pavlik.

And don't put too much emphasis on J.C. appearing right handed, you could pause Joe at anytime during his fight and he could appear at any style because he offers so much movement and is so unorthodox.

The guy in the second shot is Don King in an actual picture. Is the guy in the third screen Michael Spinks, perhaps from the list of classic fighters? Sure looks like him. On second thought, it could be Aaron Pryor, too.

Seriously this game is looking nice. My only "gripe" would be that the sweat effect has a little too much shine but in now way would that be a show stopper for me. Other than that looking real good.
