You can also plug roy jones into the mix... If you notice in the picture with Calzaghe, there is a "Jordan Brand" banner hangin from the rafters, meaning that the Jordan branded boxing athletes will assuredly be in the game.

I dont know about that. He just signed with King a few months ago and just because Jordan made an ad buy in this game doesnt mean that Jones is going to be in the game. Also, I think Jones would have been in some of the first pics just like Pavlik and Calzaghe.

Now I will be SHOCKED if Trinidad isnt in the game since he has been with King for over a decade.

I dont know about that. He just signed with King a few months ago and just because Jordan made an ad buy in this game doesnt mean that Jones is going to be in the game. Also, I think Jones would have been in some of the first pics just like Pavlik and Calzaghe.

First, Jordan doesnt "buy" anything... They (2k) bought the rights to use the Logo and any other intellectual properties that were worked out in the agreement.

The reason for CP3 being on the cover of NBA2k8 wasnt because they wanted him from the start, it is because he is a Jordan Brand athlete. The only way they could feasibly put the brand in the game and save a few bucks in the process (especially since EA had bought up Jordan intellectuals on most shoes) was to put Chris Paul on the cover. He's young, he's clean cut, and nice guy image... I dont care how many people say "shoes, accessories, etc." don't sell in hoops games, or they say "who cares about shoes".... That's why the man still has people lining up outside of a mall at 5 a.m. waiting to buy them before they sell out... And that's one of the reasons why Jordan Brand is so demanded in games... If your building a simulation and authentic game... Especially Bball, you better have the major brands in it... 2k felt the same way...

So, I know what your trying to say, but Jordan Brand is just as much ingrained in sports as the athletes themselves... Thats why the Jordan brand in this game is properly a package deal from NBA 2k8 that his brand will be represented in all the 2ksports lineup... I guarantee the Jordan brand will be in MLB 2k8... Watch!

I'm sorry but you are just flat out wrong. Do you have a link or any evidence to back up this theory.

Fight Night didnt pay Burger King to advertise in their game. Jordan Brand paid like every other advertiser to place advertising in their game. Like I said I'm not saying Roy isnt in the game but a Jordan AD doesnt guarantee Roy is going to be in it.

At first I thought it was ridiculous that 2k signed Don King for this game, but now seeing that it comes with his stable of fighters. I think its actually a good move. Especially if Jones and Trinidad are in the game.

I think 2k's experience in signing all the individual players for APF will carryover to this game. I still standby that EA is extremely lazy and the roster should be bigger.
