    Shiza Kampf in Deutschland...

Anyone catch this fight tonight? Yawn.............

Tyson would have made either man cry during the pre-fight stare down....

The heavyweight division remains in shambles.

I disagree. Povetkin is a recipe of trouble for any version of Tyson. He is well schooled, has an iron chin, and has an all-time great workrate. And worse for Tyson, Povetkin has no fear. Just in case you didn't know, Povetkin pretty much is the most decorated amateur of all-time and has a much better resume than Tyson through his first 15 fights. And it is not even close. I am not saying Tyson wins or loses, but to say Tyson would beat Povetkin and make him cry during a staredown is laughable at best.

Chambers has amazing handspeed but has well below average power and pretty much is a blown up cruiser.

Why? Because Russians are ruling it, and not Americans? If you think the division blows because Tyson sucks, here's a news flash: Tyson hasn't been relevant as a fighter for 10 years.

Klitschko isn't half-bad, man. He's no Ali, Holmes or Tyson in his prime, but he's not a bad fighter.

The fight was a snoozefest. Chambers was scared to let his hands go. Povetkin has zero defense. I fully expect Klitch to knock him out in no later than the 2nd round.

Tyson in his first 15 fights would've broke his jaw. Early. Let's be real. One single right hand from Chambers closed up Potvetkin's left eye.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. Tyson in his prime would have dropped either man inside of 3 rounds. I have not seen a decent heavyweight fight in years, or one that I would consider spending money on. I know there are a lot of Tyson haters here but that kind of excitment is sadly missing from boxing. Serious snoozefest last night.

I don't hate Tyson as a fighter. But his best years are so far past him that a rear-view mirror can't even see them.

I just wish the media would stop clinging to Tyson and Holyfield and realize there's some halfway-decent younger talent in the heavyweight division and a LOT of good younger talent in the lighter weight divisions.

Boxing may look moribund if all you consider is heavyweights. But the sport is teeming with talent and solid fights in the lighter divisions.

Please,Oleg Maskev has one of the belts and that guy is a tomato can on his best day. The only one of the belts holders who is worth a darn is Klitschko and does anybody really get excited to see him fight? The fact that the masses would rather see a washed up Mike Tyson than any of these dregs should tell you something.

Tyson is TOO washed up for me. I'd rather see anything, even a figure skating routine than see him fight. The McBride fight should make everyone feel the same. Tyson can't even make it to round 4 even if no one throws punches anymore, he can no longer even be refered to as an athlete. He is Done, everyone should accept it and move on.

Exactly. It tells me that people need to look to the lower weight classes for excitement, but they're too f*cking lazy to do it.

Guys like Cotto, Mayweather, Hatton, Mosley, Marquez, Vazquez, Green, Calzaghe, Kessler, Miranda, Pavlik, Spinks, Williams, Judah, Malignaggi, Diaz, Pacquiao and John all can put on much more exciting fights than Tyson.

People were able to look at the lower weight classes in the late 70s and early 80s when Leonard, Hagler and Duran ruled and when Holmes was a less-than-charismatic heavyweight champ; they should do the same now.

Tyson's even said as much. He wants nothing to do with boxing and I'd wager that he would have quit boxing after his rape conviction if he had his way. Tyson continued to box because it made him rich. Once he left Kevin Rooney in his dust and surrounded himself with hanger-on's his career was over. You could make a case that his career was finished by the time he was 23.

                            For how long?

If the hope for the heavyweight division lies in Povetkin, MMA will gradually surpass Boxing as the viewer's choice.
