    Calzage>Kessler>Andrade=Trouble For Hopkins

I'm not sure Bernard could beat Andrade (did anyone see him tonight?), so I think he's going to be in a bit of trouble against Calzage. Of course styles come into play also.

Not sold on Andrade. Kessler owned him and Andrade looked good tonight, but it may have been just because he was fighting a protected Euro fighter.

Kessler is the most underrated fighter in boxing (yes, even after getting owned by JC). If Kessler is mentally back, he will own Miranda.

JC will beat Hopkins. I will be shocked if he loses.

I will be stunned if Hopkins beats Calzage too. Didn't know Miranda and Kessler were squaring off. Interesting to see Miranda's power at 168 against a legitimate non-Contender (David Banks) type of fighter.

Miranda went through a smear campaign calling Kessler everything under the sun.

Kessler hesitated (reason unknown) and finally accepted the challenge.

HBO wanted the fight and picked it up.

If Kessler's hesitation is because he can't get over the JC loss, he is done. If Kessler is Kessler, he will thrash Miranda in a Pavlik manner.

I think Kessler's hesitation probably was not to give this loudmouth a payday.

It will be because JC doesn't necessarily have the power to hurt B-Hop.

B-hop doesn't have the speed or quickness to deal with Calzage. He will try to lead or counter with the right, but I don't think he'll be successful.

Hopkins will have a hard time winning throwing 7 punches a round. I would be suprised if JC scored a knockout, but I see a 118 - 110 unanimous decision accross the board. Hopkins is garbage.

Son,you don't defend the middleweight title as many times as Hopkins did if you're garbage. If you don't like the guy, that's your business. But to call the guy garbage? Come on brother.

                        passed his prime, definitely.
                        should have stayed retired, absolutely.

But a man who held the middle weight title as long as he did, can never be called garbage. He isn't the same fighter now. But to disgrace his accomplishments by calling him garbage, is not only classless, its borderline moronic.

JC should win this fight easily, but i doubt it will be a knockout.

Hopkins as an individual is garbage. Telling Taylor that Taylor will have wished he committed suicide just like Taylor's brother did before they fought was enough for me to know that Hopkins as an individual is garbage. You don't go there.

And now his boxing skills are basically garbage too. Doesn't matter how many times he defended his title, I didn't say his skills were garbage in his prime. If Emmit Smith tried to play RB for the Cowboys now, he'd be garbage too. Hopkins just doesn't know when its time to hang it up, probably because he never really got the big paydays when he was on his run in his prime. Can't blame the guy for trying to make a buck now, but he'll get soundly beat by JC.

Hopkins has NO CLASS, but even at 43 he has to be respected as a fighter having beaten Tarver for the light heavyweight title and defending it successfully against Winky Wright in the last two years. One problem for him will be slight ring rust, but the guy is always in such great shape so he should minimize the rust effect, but not totally. Recent comments from Calzage:
"I'm more concerned about being head-butted by him than being hit with his punches to be honest.

"He will try to make it a dirty fight but I can outbox him and when he starts losing he will make mistakes.

"I don't just want to win I want to put on a show and smash him to bits. I hope Hopkins comes to play....but I'm not holding my breath."
