    Mayweather Family.......

When you think about boxing today the first name that you think of is Mayweather......Weither its the best fighter in the world or having the best trainer in the corner.I was watching Countdown to DLH/Forbes after the fight and it showed how Floyd Mayweather Jr. Didn't want his uncle Roger Mayweather in the corner of Steve Forbes because he could beat ODLH with Roger in his corner........

On the other hand Floyd Mayweather Sr. Is back in ODLH's corner as head trainer....When he is in Oscar's corner Oscar is a much better fighter IMO.....That was one of my concerns whe he fought FM Jr the first time and had Freddie Roach in his corner......

Now the wquestions I pose to my fellow OS community memebers are......Do you think that having a Mayweather in your corner gives you a added advantage going into a bout?...and if so which one whould you choose?.......And now that ODLH has FM Sr. Back in his corner gives him what he needs to beat FM Jr.?.....or will it be the same result from the previous bout?...

    Re: Mayweather Family.......

unlike most people, I think ODLH has a chance to win, just like he did in the first fight. It was only 'watchable' because DLH made it exciting.

I do think he would have done a little better w/ fm sr. in the corner, because I think his insight into boxing is top notch and gives anyone great advice during a fight.

I thought the first fight was 'close' at least and in no way thought pbf 'dominated' him. I would definetely watch the rematch, but I think oscar should definetly risk a bit more on go for the KO,...it's ko or be ko'd in that scenario. He should try to pound the body as hard as he can in the first couple of rounds hitting arms, shoulders, neck, chest, belly - all of it, doesn't matter as long as its hard,. if you waste too much energy ealy trying to knock his head off you'll just miss him and be swinging at air...better to hit something and take at least something out of him
Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.

I agree....I remember watching the first fight and saying to myself,"Why is Oscar holding back"....and a few times when Oscae was going back to his corner asfter a round you could see BHop yelling at him to keep up the jab.....I think Oscar watched that fight over and over and saw how effective the jab was......

I also believe FM Sr. Wants to beat his son more then ODLH does. You can't be more disrespectful then FM Jr. Was to his own father who introduced him to the sport.....I guess money plus a big Ego makes you do some terrible things.

When I think of boxing, Mayweather is not the first name that comes to mind.

          My first thought...

I only give De La a chance because it's boxing and anything can happen. But I don't think he has the speed or strength to beat Maywether.
