I would really have to put the thinking cap on to recall a weight drained fighter to ever be able to pull it off. Way too much abuse on your body. He flat out just got owned.

Chris Byrd was out classed last night. He didn't seem ready for a fighter with speed.

I didn't watch the match, but I saw a few highlights. Looks like he was getting knocked around the ring. Is this the end for Bryd or will he come back for more? It has got to be tough on the body to lose so much weight so quickly.

Actually forgot about this fight and found out the results a few minutes ago. I'm semi shocked.

              For those that missed it..

I really felt bad for Byrd. He looked awful. Slow, weak, I can go on but geezzzz I hope he retires.

Byrd isn't dumb and he made a ton of money. He will retire.

A 37 year old blown up heavyweight champ who took some vicious beatings just can't lose 40 pounds and be effective right away. At 37, he has no time to get used to the weight. Had a great career and time to be done.
