what a disappointment. i can't believe i spent time waiting for this game and even bought an Xbox with anticipation of this game. now, after seeing vids, not only will i not buy it, but won't even rent it. 2K, you guys are slipping.Comment

Yeah, this video actually dampened my already low expectations.
The way some of the fighters reacted to shots that didn't appear to have the power to break a wet napkin made my stomach sink.
Before the news of PF came out I was very, very close to trading in my Xbox 360 for a PS3 just for The Show.
I don't regret keeping my 360, but I wouldn't be complaining if I had made the swap. Especially with FNRd 4 coming out next year for every platform.
I'm almost positive this will be the first and last boxing game from 2K sports.Comment

This looks like trash! Animations are from the sega saturn days. This looks nothing like boxing. It looks like comedy. 2 dudes standing in the middle of the ring impersonating rock em' sock em' robots.
I was really pulling for 2k on this one. They dropped the ball HARD with the career mode and dropped it even worse with the gameplay. Then they got a producer who runs his mouth even though his game is garbage. Nah. Aside from what looks to be some very poor gameplay, the way they use the button icons for training is terrible. Why are video games in love with icons & meters. They need to let us time player model animations instead. Instead of watching button icons fly across my screen, why not have me watching a guys feet when jumping rope?Shout out to The Watcher! Ouch. Maybe they can put out one of those highly edited fluff videos like they did for MLB2k8 with all of the faje bats sounds and fanfare....that might help this title at this point. Color me disappointed on this one.

in my opinion Fight Night takes a ferocious DUMP on this game. Animations and Collison detection in this game look like a 2 out of 10 on a rating scale. If this game had a great career mode i would overlook the crappy animations and collisions. But this career mode is trash. Im suppose to pretend i was banging those chicks that are suppose to be my exs.
