• Career mode in prizefight will take 15 hours to play.
• Exhibition mode included. Can choose 40 boxers all licensed. 10 legends such as ding ding Larry Holmes and Ken Norton. But no Iron Mike huh?
• Multiplayer mode has a fight club esque area where best man wins? And a single round elimination mode. Can you use up to 5 customized characters in the different fight classes.
• Fight Night is beautiful and they did a great job and launch title. They kinda missed it. (what?) They were short on career mode and wanted to deliver on that since many people consider that important. Your friends go home and you still have energy, so focused a lot on career.
• FACEBREAKER IS NOT A BOXING GAME ACCORDING TO 2K. 2K all about integrity to the sport itself. Facebreaker is just a hybrid fighting game. Career inside and outside the ring is just as important in Prizefighter. But, still looking forward to those games.
• There is blood! Deformation of the face, bruising. Everything you would see in a fighting game. The difference is 2K didn’t focus on it and get caught up on it with slo mo blood etc (lol shot @ EA). Blood and sweat are in because it’s part of boxing and keeping it real.
• You can have a fighter stable for online up to 5 in different weight classes. Online seems like it will flexible so you’re not stuck looking for a game in a particular weight class. Fighter’s club is a round robin tournament in real time with 8 people. Get points for wins for losses and whoever wins with the most points win. Also single elimination tournaments that are quick in one sitting. No days or weeks (this is important, good move 2K). Separate tournament leader board as well. Thinks most hardcore will gravitate to the tournaments.

Yeah really me too. I think the game looks like it has some pretty good action in there. Won't be sure till I play it though...

Demo is suppose to be coming soon, so hopefully we will know before tomorrow if this game warrants a purchase.

Just think of NBA Live07.

That game was missing in action all the way up to release, with very little gameplay videos and previews.

And EA did that for a reason. The game was complete garbage, and they figured they would be better off just putting it out on shelves with the hope of suckering people into buying it.

I cannot see anyway, that Prizefghter will be a decent game. These developers are not stupid, if they new their product was something the public would want to purchase there would be MUCH more footage out there by now.

I know 2ksports is horrible at marketing their games but, the lack of info in relation to this game is beyond ridiculous.

And I sense a MAJOR dissapointment come tomorrow.

Gametrailers has ones that I haven't seen before, and 50 reader reviews that give the game an 8.4 out of 10 which is encouraging.

I hate to be so negative, but you guys that are going to buy Prizefighter are undoubtedly going to return it.

The gameplay looks absolutely horrible and I'm not exagerrating. I just watched the Campbell/Casamayor video from Gametrailers and man it's brutal.

They really dropped the ball with this one.

There are some videos out there that are pretty bad. This video shows better gameplay.

I totally disagree. The punches have "impact snap" and nothing from that video would discourage me from buying the game. The key to the gameplay good or bad won't be revealed by this video. Believe me, I'll be the first one to dis the game if it sucks. The keys for me will be having the ability to instinctively operate on defense and proper depletion of energy when throwing too many punches.

Isn't it a lot about the gamers who are controlling the action? If they don't know what they are doing the action could look somewhat chaotic.
