I don't have Showtime, but www.boxrec.com is reporting that Mora beat Forrest (MD).

Good move to throw in the towel. Pavlik destroyed Lockett with ease.

Talk about 2 quick fights on HBO tonight.

My boy the Punisher Williams knocked out Quintana in the first. Mora got a big win and the first championship for the Contender cast.

                    Hilarious.

Just got done watching the 4 fights. Thoughts:

Williams-Quintana: Freakin ownage to the haters. I jumped on the Williams train awhile back and the first fight was clearly a look ahead. Man, he flat out owned Quintana. Good to see Williams back and fresh and powerful at that weight.

Mora-Forrest: Forrest has always been inconsistent, and I really like him because he is one of the classiest guys in sports, but he had this karma coming from the Quartey fight. Mora is awkward as hell and nowhere near as bad as many like to claim since he was on a tv show.

De Leon-Lopez: I hate little guys, but loved how Lopez stayed straight after he hurt Ponce. Pretty vicious ending.

The ****-Lockett: People will find a way to discredit Kelly, but he flatout destroyed a mandatory on freakin HBO. That was hardcore ownage. He had him in front of him and decapitated. Just beautiful!!!

Pavlik is getting closer and closer to "Best Pound for Pound Boxer in the World" title.

Kelly looked perfect tonight. I'm glad Enzo Calzage threw in the towel. For a moment i thought he was going to let Lockett get further slaughtered just to have a chance to land a lucky punch.

Big fight in two weeks between Miranda and Arthur Abraham at 166. If Abraham wins he could be matched up with Pavlik.

I doubt Abraham would win the second meeting between him and Pantera. Pantera would get slaughtered again if he went up against Pavlik again though..

It will be an awesome fight. I hope Abraham wins for boxing's sake. Don't forget though that King Arthur fought the majority of the first fight with a broken jaw. Regardless, as you said, I have no interest in watching Miranda-Pavlik again.

I doubt that Miranda and Kelly will meet up again regardless of the result of the Abraham fight. Kelly looked cool, calm, and collected against a fighter that I believe Jermaine Taylor was scared of. A good matchup would be Miranda vs Taylor.
Best post line fight of the night-Pavlik telling Max Kellerman that if they told him he'd have to fight Godzilla tomorrow he bitch about it for awhile, but then he'd fight him, to which Kellerman replied, "Well I hate to tell you but in the middleweight division right now champ, you are Godzilla."
