I got to agree with you there, that was the most lame thing I've read while being a member of OS.
Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.

that's why i'm looking forward to facebreaker.

to me the average sports fan would rather have a Rocky-like boxing experience over mimicking the junk we see on HBO nowadays.

Not to be rude but you obviously arent a boxing fan. Someone who has paid attention to Boxing in the last few years wouldnt say something as silly as describing "two guys hugging each other." With guys like Miguel Cotto, Calzaghe, Pavlik, Vasquez, the Marquez brothers and many more putting on great fights, anyone whose watched Boxing would know its not a hug fest.

Also that pandering to the average sports fan mentatlity is the reason why many consider most EA games like Madden and NBA Live as subpar.

the only division in boxing thats' a hug fest is the heavyweight division, because most of the big guys gas too quick. But boxing is no longer about the heavyweights. hell middle weight and below is where the action is at. mot of those guys throw, and throw often, I am talking 70+ punches around from each fighter, and very rarely a clinch. Boxing in the lower weight classes are still exciting fights. for some reason though people wont watch unless its a heavyweight which happens to be the most boring divsion. The smaller divisions need to be marketed better, and made more accessible to every day joe shmoe that doesnt have HBO or Showtime or buy PPV's if boxing wants to save it self. Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez on free tv would have done wonders for the sport.you would have brought back the casual fan had they been able to see a fight like that.
