Boxers road 2... Has anyone played this on a hacked PSP??

Thats basically my question. I've only gotten 4 pro fights deep into career mode and its without a doubt the greatest boxing game I've ever played.
The reason I ask is that I seem to have run into a glitch where after the 1st round of a pro fight the game goes into hyper speed.

I really love this game any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to be honest and tell u that I didnt buy the game, I only downloaded the iso. But in hopes that the game will actually work without this glitch I'm ready to buy the disc from play-Asia.
Has anyone else ran into this glitch? Is it due to my PSP being hacked or the fact im not playing the umd?

I own the game and I have never seen this issue.

How do I start fighting? Do I have to wait until after my amateur career? So far, all it does is sim for days. It this usual?

Also, I would appreciate if you could help me out with the controls. I'm positive I got the basics down but was just wondering if there were any other punches and moves you can do.

You have to keep working until you get a 'pro-test' and then you must win that match. Once you do then you appear in the rankings starting at 4 round fights. take your time and work your way up, jump to far ahead in the rankings and you will find yourself getting rocked on the reuglar.

Do you know of any good diet and training regimes in Boxer's Road 2. I really haven't given the game that much time, but I tried creating a Lightweight Outboxer, and had no problem keeping the bad health off, but I wasn't becoming as strong or as fast as I know I could have been. I tried using some of the regimes on www.dynamiteglove.com, but they just never seemed to result in a strong fast fighter as quickly as I would have liked to have seen.

Have you found any success in creating strong durable created boxers?

Let me find the diets on dynamite glove and post them. The game is like real boxing and it takes time to build a strong fighter. early on you have to stick and move and dont trade as your punches are weak, you are trying to literally build a fighter. This is not FN or PF where you gain points easily. They are earned in this game through training AND diet.

Oh I know and I built a few great champions in victorious road, the PS2 import game.

Now boxer's road 2, there are some upgrades and some cool little things that are embedded in the engine that translates to the gameplay itself.

Since diet is closely related to weight, some of the diets i've tried give me too much bad health. I am a lightweight boxer now, so I'd like to start there and find some diets that work stamina, endurance, and moderate muscle building with minimal bad health. i'd also like to not have to change my diet drastically over time.

If anyone has any success stories or suggestions of diet and training regiments in Boxer's Road 2, please share. I'll spend some more time building up my boxer this week...

What i usually do is go into (easy setup i think its called) where you see sliders for diet, sliders for training and sliders for sparring and resting. I just tweak the sliders depending on what i want to accomplish. For power i raise the amino acid slider in the diet section, then bring the glucose slider up almost half way.
This will usually make your fighter gain weight tho so i counter it by doing a lot of training, i max the power and speed training sliders.

I hit ok and then what that does is the computer makes me a diet and training regimen based on my slider inputs. From there u can tweak it to your liking, dropping fat and water if ur gaining too much weight, or adding meals if ur losing weight.

Then go into the calender and adjust your days off and your sparring days. give urself 2-4 days off a week depending on if ur going to spar or have a fight. I usually rest 4 days straight before a fight.

I hope this helps. i get good results using this method just play with the sliders then tweak. If u set ur sliders tweak and then go back to the slider setup it might reset ur sliders so be careful.

Yes, the original post was a TOS violation. He's been given an infraction and now, I'm closing this thread.
