Come on, that isn't right. Should it have been stopped? No doubt. Does that mean it was fixed? Of course not. Abraham beat him the first time.

well I was being semi-sarcastic, I did gain A LOT of respect for Abraham after that fight, but still there's no denying that everything about the fight was just wrong.

The "low blows" were not low, they were upper-cuts landed on/just above the belt line. The headbutt was the right call, but the ref was ready to DQ Miranda and award AA the win, until someone explained to him that he couldn't do that since the headbutt did not cause the injury to the jaw. So, when he finds that out he decides to continue the fight despite the doctor calling for a stoppage and AA initially saying that he did not want to continue. Then later in the fight when Miranda is moving in for the KO, the ref stops him and asks if AA is ok, lol. It just doesn't get any worse than that.

Then on top of that the judging was also very suspect.

There was all kind of shady going on in that fight...and I am not disagreeing with you. And you obviously watched the fight, I just don't think that was a "robbery" or anything like that.

Regardless, the rematch isn't in europe, and it should be off the charts.

And you are right, you have to respect King Arthur. Anyone who can fight almost entire championship fight against a legit fighter with a broken jaw is a bad mother.

Especially against a legit fighter with Miranda's power.

Classic Miranda though, he is already calling out for a rematch with Pavlik. Last time he overlooked a fight Pavlik beat his ***. You think he would learn after the Taylor pre fight press conference.

Miranda said that? He must be talking about fighting Kelly at 166 or 168, because Miranda claims to be weakened at middle (160). Miranda says "he's so strong it's scary" at super middleweight.

Saturday's fight is at 160. Hence, all the drained stuff is bs since that was Miranda's camps ace in the hole until they realized Pavlik was no joke.

It's actually at a catch weight of 166, although Showtime bills it as a middleweight bout.

I missed that. I think it will help King Arthur more than people will think.

Fight was definately fixed. Miranda won the fight, even with point reductions. Oddly enough, watch the replay when the referee asked Abraham if he wanted to continue after his jaw was broken, he answers NO.

                            He definitely said no.

Abraham was beating him pillar to post in quite a few rounds.

Here is a great highlight for anyone who can't catch a replay before the rematch.
