I saw the fight it was a wild fight Holt was down twice....once by a flash knockdown....the other was more him being off balance. He weathered the storm with hooks to the body and a right hand that rocked Torres to sleep.



p.s Kendall Holt is from here in New Jersey,I saw him fight alot in the amateurs. I was on my way out of the amatuers when he was getting deep into boxing.

You don't want to give Holt any credit...huh? I didn't see a head butt he clearly was slipping his punches. The hook to the body started the knockout.

As rockchisler stated, the KO punch was setup by a headbutt that clearly stunned Torres. It felt like wrestling to me, where the 1-2-3 pin was preceeded by an illegal blow with some kind of hidden object that the ref missed. Those of us with a trained boxing eye caught it right away It's hard to say what would've happened in the fight were it not for the headbutt. Showtime completely missed it. In a case like that, it seems unfair to Torres. Even if it was unintentional, the ref shouldn't have allowed the follow up blow, but he missed it I guess.

Trained boxing eye?!?? My man, I actually boxed(13 plus years). It seem like you and the other guy just are fans of Torres. I'ma fan of boxing.

Your so called trained boxing eye was looking at the slowed down replay. In real-time the ref saw what we saw before the replay. Yes, he did get head butted, but he also was rocked by a good body shot. After the quick head butt, he tried to back up and get distance to throw another punch. Holt's punch was straight, quick and to the point. and Torres was unable to realease.
Did anyone notice Torres's leg was shaking???

Speaking of foul (head butt nonsense), the second knock down of Holt should have not counted. His gloves hit the canvas and Torres clocked him again. Ya see, the speed of the action. The Ref was not in position to prevent that.

Kendall Holt, said in an interview yesterday, that it wasn't an intentional headbutt and that unintentional headbutts happen alot in boxing(I can agree to that)....He also said noone made a big deal after he got sucker punched after going down the second time. He said would everybody be making a big deal if I got knocked out with that sucker punch?
