Would you want a weekly wrap up of Fights that happened...in Fight Night Round 4? How about fights clips of you and your next opponent leading up toward your fight?Last edited by SHAKYR; 07-25-2008, 02:51 AM.Poe is an advocate for realistic boxing videogames.Tags: None -

I think this goes back to the thoughts that were posted on the rankings being 'alive'. Meaning, the titles change hands among CPU controlled players, fighters aging, injuries, and annoucements of the top 10.
I dont just want cute clips of stuff. I would like to see relevant information that reflects my career mode. And just like in Madden/NCAA where games are given a 'score' for greatness, do the same for FN. Give fights a score and let the weekly highlights be from that match.
For upcoming opponents I would like to see stats of his last few figghts. Japs thrown, power shots etc, work rate, along with the obvious things like height, weight, record, reach and last 6 opponents.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/complex219 -

Yes. I think it's extremely important to have a weekly wrap up, as complex said, to have rankings be "alive". I think it is very important to the presentation aspect of the game to actually create a boxing world. A world where at the beginning of your career you are basically an irrelevant nobody, reflective through (the lack of) media coverage (i.e. the weekly wrap, possibly through ESPN integration with Brian Kenny on Friday Night Fights or something), then becoming the most talked about boxer in the world. It would be fun to know that when you have your first title shot if it is against someone who is making their first title defense and you are supposedly a confidence boosting fight, or if you are fighting against someone who has ruled the division for 3 years and it would be a Buster Douglas type upset. Kind of like how FN Rounds 1 and 2 were, but with the "next-gen" flavour of weekly wrap up vids.I wish everyone talked like Larry Merchant.Comment

I would love to see a weekly wrap-up showing all the relevant fight highlights.
Show the champ winning again or being upset. Or the up and coming, undefeated challenger beating down another tomato can.
And of course, it would great to see your own highlights on there too.
Adding on to this, (and I know this is a very petty request) it would be cool if, once you're a top contender, to be invited to watch the champ's fights to heckle him after the fight. Kind of like what Evander did with Tyson or when Lewis got in Bowe's face after he won the belt.
I know, I know. It's a little far-fetched to add things like this in boxing games, but if they did implement a system where earning PPV money was important, you could chalk this up to helping hype an upcoming fight.Comment

Or we could get guys showing up at the weigh in with gloves on and punching eachother. Don't need any Deja Kudo in round 4.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
