Me either. Not sure where this puts him in history. Definitely not a top 10 guy.

His retirement will be short lived.
A big offer will come down the pipe and he'll be back in action in 12 months or less.

thats a crazy statement. He only has one fight left. If he came back and beat Chad Dawson he's cemented as probably the Greatest SuperMiddleweight. But then again why risk it?
Put yourself in his shoes, the fight would only be to cement his legacy. If he loses he risks blemeshing his undefeated record.
I don't know if i would do it, unless i was still in my prime.

I think he has to fight again...if he really hangs em up I'll be dissapointed. Boxing the past few years has become more exciting than usual and I'd like to see that contiue. I want him to fight Dawson...and I think Kessler should have a rematch!

I want Kessler to start taking over (i have some danish blood running through the old veins)

I want him to fight Dawson as well but a rematch with Kessler makes no sense. Kessler fought his heart out that night, showed tremendous skill but it just wasn't enough. Joe is just an elite fighter. Dawson is a Light Heavyweight champ and if Joe beats him it would shut all the haters up and prove Joe is the real deal.
Unfortunately Joe is getting old has brittle hands and is probably past his prime.

I would love to see the Dawson fight too, but I want Joe to go away undefeated. He's a great champion marred by a few bad managerial and contractual decisions, but he is one of the greatest middleweights ever. I hear all this crap about him not being considered a top 100 of alltime fighter, and I have to say, that's friggin insane. The guy could hella-box, was a genius in the ring and could adapt to any fighter's style and best them. Kudos to him going out on top.

Dawson might rock his world, but that'd be one fight that I would pay double the payperview price to see

Yeah man i agree 100%. He just has top notch elite stamina, intelligence and an incredible chin. I'd love to see him come back....... I just wouldn't blame him if he doesn't.
