I don't have the money for PPV and I don't get HBO. So most of my boxing information comes from those websites. I don't think he gets as much pub as he deserves in that regard.
You may be right about the other sites. But they gush over him on HBO. No HBO? How do you watch boxing?

Unfortunately, I don't get to watch much.
The only time I get to see any fights is if they're on TSN. And even then, most of them are reruns a week later. It sucks.
I need to win the lottery so I can watch all the PPV fights I can handle.

Or grow a beard and get an eye patch. My buddy gets them all, don't know how, I don't ask.

He's the only man to have stopped Joel Casamayor and now he KO's Juan Diaz.

If you look at his Losses, you could make a very strong argument that he should be undefeated. His losses to Chris John and Manny P. are disputable.

I'd love to see a rematch between Marquez and Pac at 140.
Although extremeley entertaining (I love watching his action-packed fights), Casamayor is not an "elite" boxer IMHO. Far from it. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah, I don't have HBO or Showtime, but I still see the PPVs. Funny way to put it though.

                    Re: Marquez vs. Diaz

I hate Marquez but this was an impressive win. He's easily the #2 P4P that's active right now. He isn't mainstream because he doesn't have much of a personality, and when he does talk, it's him being cocky and complaining about how he should have won the two fights vs Pac. But he is definitely up there with the big timers, and he's one of the rare few that is getting better and better with age.
