I can't see Mora winning. Pavlik majority decision or late stoppage. Mora will look strong, quick, and elusive to start the fight, but he has never been hit by sledge hammers. I think to many people are writing him off after his first loss. Mora is not Hopkins and won't be able to outbox the champ. -

I don't know. I like Pavlik but he's very one-dimensional.
Mora outboxed Vernon Forrest, who's a much slicker boxer than Pavlik. And Vernon can bang too.
Kelly's power will be the equalizer. But Mora's a better boxer. I can see him doing what's necessary to eek out a 12 round UD.Comment

The link must have changed because it states Pavlik will be fight John Duddy on the same date in Atlantic City. Until I see this confirmed by Dan Raefal on ESPN.com I'm not believe the speculation.
It's disappointing, because I'd much rather see Mora vs. Pavlik. Duddy is so vastly overrated it's not funny. Kelly will destroy Duddy.PSN: bronk14Comment

I don't mind this fight either, because it will be exciting while it lasts. I don't consider Duddy overrated because he isn't rated. He is a ticket seller with a fan friendly style and heart, so he is cool in my book. Other than his most recent fight on the PPV he hasn't really been in boring fights, but at the same time he is still learning how to fight. Though we will never confuse him for a pound for pound fighter, but will always be a quality opponent with a big following.Comment

Anyone who doesn't stand right in front of Kelly can beat him. Kelly won't hit Mora clean enough for his power to come into play that much, IMO. The question will be how Sergio handles Kelly's pressure, not his power.Comment

I'm a homer here (used to live near Ytown and went to YSU), but I think Kelly will win again. It'll be another sloppy fight and not worth the $65 (good thing the bars show it for free around here). It'll be a decision or stopped on some crappy flurry late in the contest.Comment

I've heard the fight is still on, and I will agree with the majority in thinking that Mora can't handle Pavlik. Mora is a better "boxer", but I truly believe that Pavlik's corner will get him ready for the "Latin Snake". Mora can't punch hard enough to stop Pavlik, so the kicker will be who is landing the cleaner punches. If Mora doesn't get KO'd, he better be ready to dodge, duck, and move all night long. And believe me, he's no BHop...
All that said, I might actually cheer on Mora. I like Pavlik but after meeting Mora, he's a really cool dude.
